Stewan Seagull: well...
Stewan Seagull: tell us what we can do about this danger
Stewan Seagull: ummhh... question

Stewan Seagull: What can we do about the danger yer spoke about?
Forest Oracle: many roots taste of the passing waters that poison the leaf.
Stewan Seagull: *groans*
Forest Oracle: Like the might of the storm it will pass amongst the leafs.
Forest Oracle: The marks of the bark speak of the passing of the creature.

Stewan Seagull: what do the marks look like?
Forest Oracle: The dead leaf marks the place where the waters turned to poison.
Stewan Seagull: *looks blank*
Stewan Seagull: well, yer all heard it

Silamo: *rumbles suddenly and rams a fist deep into the earth*
Stewan Seagull: *jumps*
Forest Oracle: *the tree seems to shudders suddenly*
Forest Oracle: Where the roots will not hold to the stones the poisoned
water shall come to
Forest Oracle: The stems speak of its passing as the wind shudders amongst
the leafs
Forest Oracle: Before the waters reach for the skies the first leafs shall
die
Forest Oracle: *shivers again like from an unseen breeze*
Silamo: *sags somewhat and stands up, shaking his wings*

Stewan Seagull: waters reach for the sky? fog?

Stewan Seagull: *looks over the assembly*
Stewan Seagull: do go on, make some sense of it
Silamo: Anvoldelem skí jux tim
(Unwinged know danger time/know when the danger comes?)
Stewan Seagull: he said we know the time of the danger

Stewan Seagull: It said...
Stewan Seagull: Before the waters reach for the skies the first leafs shall
die
Stewan Seagull: sounds like a time to me
Gwen Irima: maybe he means before fall ?

Gwen Irima: umm mister oracle... does the danger come
Gwen Irima: from the foundations or sewers of Trinsic ?
Forest Oracle: Where the roots of stone take hold the stem cannot see.

Gwen Irima: should we expect... a poisoning of thought rather then a
literal poisoning ?
Forest Oracle: As the leafs rustle in the wind, their blackening shall kill
the tree.

Silamo: Balsilfer est vasarb, balsilfer lók de vasarb *rumbles*
(Oracle is tree, it speaks like tree)
Stewan Seagull: The oracle speaks of trees
Stewan Seagull: because it is a tree
Silamo: Balsilfer lók ben
Stewan Seagull: the oracle speaks good
Silamo: Anvoldelem an kred de vasarb (Onwinged don´t think like tree)
Stewan Seagull: He says the oracle is doin its best

Silamo: *rumbles slowly and spreads his wings*
Silamo: Balsilfer skí sol vasarb (oracle only knows trees)
Silamo: Balsilfer an skí human (it doesn´t know human)

T'lara Flower: is it going to destroy us mentally?
T'lara Flower: the elders first before the young know how to run the city?
Forest Oracle: When the leafs have fallen the stem shall lay bare and rot.

Another Talk with the Oracle

Forest Oracle: The passing shadows stir the leafs and rattle the roots.

Reann: passing shadows of what?
Forest Oracle: The smallest sapling may throw the greatest shadow, yet all that lives will.

Reann: do you know what causes the passing shadow?
Forest Oracle: The seeker that has found seeks the answers to questions that drive him and those that know the answers throw the shadows of their lives onto the shaking leaf.

Reann: are you able to give a clearer answer?
Forest Oracle: Every answer is clear to those that can understand it.

Reann: is there a way to remove the growth in the waters?
Forest Oracle: When the shadow passes the leafs will bask in the sun once
again. With the passing of the shadows, the seeker shall reveal
himself.

Reann: do you know the form of that which casts the shadow?
Forest Oracle: The form is that of sapling and tree, of root and leaf, of water
and earth.

Reann: would that not also mean you could be considered the cause?
Forest Oracle: Those that offer the answers course through my stems as through others.

Reann: other then waiting for the shadow to pass how can we find the cause of the growth?
Forest Oracle: to those that see the answer will appear soon.
Reann: those that see something specific or just able to see?
Forest Oracle: Even now what you seek is growing and stretching its roots.
Reann: do you know where it is stretching its roots?
Forest Oracle: *shivers gently in the wind*

Reann: is it one or many shadows?
Forest Oracle: Many questions, many answers, many shadows.

Reann: do you know anything more that would help us oracle?
Forest Oracle: The root grows amongst you.
Reann: it grows amongst us here or do you mean it grows in trinsic?
Forest Oracle: Amongst the many leafs, one has turned rotten
Reann: so there is only one rotten leaf?
Forest Oracle: One leaf that can cause the others to fall

Reann: so this leaf is a important one?
Forest Oracle: *a breeze rustles through the ferns around*
Reann: is the leaf a old leaf or is it a young leaf?
Reann: hmm... guess it can nay say if its old or young either...

Reann: is the corrupt leaf in your presence now?
Forest Oracle: The shadows dance where the rotten leaf calls.

Reann: is this all caused by one person?
Forest Oracle: One leaf turns rotten.

Stewan Seagull: Is the rotten leaf the same as the seeker that found the
answers?
Forest Oracle: The seeker that found now seeks the answers that he has not yet found.

Reann: the rotten leaf is causing these things on purpose then?
Forest Oracle: The rotten leaf seeks answers, not decay.

Reann: does the rotten leaf know it is causing these things to happen?
Forest Oracle: All that grows needs water, light and earth to do. Without,
nothing shall sprout.

Reann: do you know the questions the rotten leaf seeks answers to?
Forest Oracle: What is lost is sought, what was forgotten is remembered. What lies in waste should grow again.

As usual, any input welcome. I know it´s a lot to read, but just skip the gargoyle part and just read the Oracles words.

Irvyn: Oracle, can you tell us anything about the fungus infected people who have been appearing?

Forest Oracle: Many blooms look similar, yet they are born by different stems.

Irvyn: Which stems give rise to the fungus people?

Forest Oracle: My roots have not found the ones.

Iljian: It doeth not know?

Irvyn: So it seems ... Oracle, which stems give rise to us? *gestures to himself and Iljian*

Forest Oracle: Roots of water and stems of stone where few things grow.

Iljian: That ith eathy, Trinsthic.

Irvyn: But the water is ... infected in some way. Does that damage us too?

Forest Oracle: The shadows that bear the answers pass earth and tree in their passing.

Irvyn: What shadows are these?

Iljian: It thaid about thadowth before.

Forest Oracle: The shadows bear the answers for the seeker that has found.

Irvyn: The seeker has found what he is seeking?

Forest Oracle: The seeker has found.

Irvyn: What has the seeker found?

Forest Oracle: The seeker found the seed that bears the fruit of knowing.

Iljian: Thomething that maketh you clever.

Irvyn: Or something which leads to the knowledge that is being sought, perhaps.

Irvyn: Oracle, what is the seed?

Forest Oracle: The seed is what had been sought by many but found by one.

Irvyn: Where was the seed found?

Iljian: I don't think treeth know a lot about thingth?

Forest Oracle: Where no root can hold.

Irvyn: In water?

Forest Oracle: Where no root can hold, no knowing can flow.

Irvyn: Can you tell us how to see in order to find this thing?

Forest Oracle: Those that know how to see will find what they seek if they know where to look.

Irvyn: How do we find out how to see?

Forest Oracle: The leafs know how to see.

Irvyn: What do they see?

Forest Oracle: The leafs see many things but not what they seek.

Irvyn: What do they seek?

Forest Oracle: The leafs search the seeker that found and the shadows that bear the answers.

Irvyn: Why do the leaves search for the seeker?

Forest Oracle: They fear the shadows in the water and the earth.

Iljian: We look for whatever maketh the water go funny. It thaid about a rotten leaf latht time.

Irvyn: Are the shadows in the water and earth causing the fungi and other plants to grow in the water of Trinsic?

Forest Oracle: The shadows touch earth, water and root.

Irvyn: Do they harm the earth and water and root?

Forest Oracle: The shadows are what they touch and what they touch is what they are. They are one.

Irvyn: Where should we search for these shadows?

Forest Oracle: The shadows pass through earth and root.

Irvyn: Where should we search for the rotten leaf?

Forest Oracle: Away from the hardened earth, amongst the roots between the dead and the living waters

Irvyn: Is the water in Trinsic dead water?

Iljian: Gueth treeth won't know nameth and placeth and directionth?

Forest Oracle: The dead waters become living waters at the passing of the shadows.

Iljian: Um, when the thadow ith in the water then it ith alive. If not it ith jutht water?

Irvyn: I am not sure what it means.

Iljian: I think you thought wrongly, mylord...

Iljian: It ith a tree, it liketh living thingth. Algae are a plant, aye? Water full of it might be a good thing to a tree?

Irvyn: True ...

Iljian: Hardened earth ith rock? Or thtone? Or a road...

Irvyn: A road ... yes, that would make sense.

Iljian: Between a road, a living water and a dead water...

Irvyn: But you think that it thinks Trinsic's algae-filled rivers are living. Even though all the fish are dead, and people also seem to be dying.

Iljian: But they aren't algae filled anymore? A tree won't know about fith...

Irvyn: There is plenty of slime left .. I do not know whether it is still growing.

Iljian: Athk?

Irvyn: Whether the fungi and algae and other plants are still growing?

Iljian: Can't hurt?

Irvyn: Oracle, are the fungi and algae and other plants still growing in Trinsic's rivers?

Forest Oracle: In winter, the leafs fall and the shadows pass.

Iljian: Aluthair did magic with freezing the water? Cold? Winter?

Irvyn: Hmm... I suppose that makes sense.

Iljian: Tho it ith not growing anymore...?

Irvyn: Does that make Trinsic's water dead or alive then?

Iljian: I would have thought dead. Jutht water.

Irvyn: Wanting water to become dead sounds wrong, somehow.

Iljian: We killed all the algae... Might upthet a tree. I think we need to find that place firtht?

Irvyn: Between the living waters and the dead ones?

Iljian: And away from the hard earth.

Irvyn: And amongst the roots.

Stewan Seagull: So... a forest, far from any mountains. Between the Trinsic rivers and one of the others?

Irvyn: Iljian thought hardened earth might refer to a road.

Stewan Seagull: hmm... true

Iljian: Could be either

Stewan Seagull: Road narrow it down further, as there is none to the south. Easier to check.

Bloomin´ Oracle

Irvyn: Oracle, do you still speak?
Stewan Seagull: Hello Oracle. Are yer well?
Forest Oracle: The wind whispers in the leafs.
Stewan Seagull: Well, Ill take that as a aye...

Stewan Seagull: Why are yer in bloom?
Forest Oracle: The roots reach out to fresh waters.
Irvyn: Does fresh water mean the water is cleansed here?

Stewan Seagull: Have the shadows passed?
Forest Oracle: The shadows rest beneath the trees that cast them.

Stewan Seagull: Is it, that made the leafs go black, gone?
Forest Oracle: The black leaf has fallen and the waters cleanse those that remain.

Stewan Seagull: What bout th seeker?
Forest Oracle: The black leaf has fallen.

Stewan Seagull: But what of what made the one leaf black?
Forest Oracle: No leaf turns black but the ones that are foul within.

Stewan Seagull: I take it the waters are clear again,
Stewan Seagull: and whoever caused it is gone, the "blackened leaf"

Iljian: Ith what turned the water ... alive ... gone?
Forest Oracle: The waters flow with new life and the soil is fertile.

Stewan Seagull: why did the rocks here turn black?
Forest Oracle: The touch of life has come and passed.

Stewan Seagull: So nothin here means us any more harm... none of th plants, that is?
Forest Oracle: No root or stem means to break another but in the struggle for the light.

Edmund: I am curious about one thing it said.
Edmund: 'No leaves turns black but the ones that are foul within.'
Edmund: Does this mean we have had our part to play in this?
Edmund: I am considering whether it might have something do with us, that is our morality.

Forest Oracle: Many leafs are rotten within, yet not all turn black. But all that turn black are rotten.

Stewan Seagull: The black leaf has fallen.
Stewan Seagull: I think thats the one thing it said thats definite

Iljian: Um.... did the theeker call the touch of life?
Forest Oracle: The seeker that found lay the seeds that brought new life

Iljian: Doeth the touch of life remain with uth?
Forest Oracle: The seed has been planted and new life has grown until it withers and dies.

Irvyn: What seed? Where did it come from?
Stewan Seagull: So the tree-woman is the new life?
Iljian: I think tho, aye
Stewan Seagull: hmm...
Iljian: The man you thaid you heard in the crythtal
Stewan Seagull: *nods*
Iljian: Forgot the name...
Stewan Seagull: he must be the seeker then
Iljian: Aye. And he brought the tree-woman here

Stewan Seagull: Why did the black leaf fall?
Forest Oracle: New life requires fertile ground to sprout in.
Stewan Seagull: urrgh...
Iljian: *winces* Doeth it mean... a thacrifice?

Stewan Seagull: no...wait... that cant be... they talked to each other.
Stewan Seagull: unless... hmm...

Stewan Seagull: were the new life and the black leaf th same for a while?
Forest Oracle: No life remains in a rotten leaf.

Stewan Seagull: But the black leaf brought the new life?
Forest Oracle: New life may sprout from what is rotten.

Stewan Seagull: Are the black leaf and the seeker the same?
Forest Oracle: The seeker that found is the leaf that fell.

Irvyn: How did the black leaf fall?
Forest Oracle: What is rotten cannot live but must fall.

Irvyn: Was there something specific which caused it to fall at this time?
Forest Oracle: New life needs ground in which to sprout.

Irvyn: Was there only one black leaf?
Forest Oracle: Always there are leafs that are rotten and always some that fall.

Irvyn: The black leaf that has now fallen - was it working alone or with others?
Forest Oracle: Many seek, yet only one found and the rot that formed remained within the leaf.

Stewan Seagull: so do we assume the black leaf was destroyed in making the new life?
Stewan Seagull: and the new life then died later?
Gwen Irima: almost sounds like someone who was good, someone we know
Gwen Irima: has turned against us

Irvyn: It could be so ... but who?
Stewan Seagull: Could be it was Antar
Gwen Irima: Is there someone who has really changed a lot ?
Irvyn: If you are right in that interpretation, the person concerned is now .... dead?
Gwen Irima: or undead, "turned"
Stewan Seagull: he disappeared for a while
Stewan Seagull: and I only saw him once again enterin that cave
Stewan Seagull: his mightve bin the familiar male voice

Robert Falcon: Are the black leafs the shadow lords?
Forest Oracle: *shivers slightly in the breeze*

Irvyn: Is there any way we can ask it whether the black leaf person was connected to the temples?
Stewan Seagull: It knows of em, it led us there
Iljian: The templeth are for the new life?
Stewan Seagull: *nods* Its where it sent us to look for th seeker

Robert Falcon: Wonder if this new life is evil or good?
Stewan Seagull: its ...bad *shrugs*
Irvyn: Judging by the vines which attacked Iljian and Stewan, I would agree with that.
Irvyn: *nods to Stewan*
Irvyn: But the rivers in Trinsic are clean again, or so it seems.

Iljian: Well, we walked into where we weren't meant to be.
Robert Falcon: Wonder if this new life has anything to do with the church showing back up in Cove?
Iljian: If we remove thomeone from the jail we aren't bad either, are we?

Edmund: Ah, the polluted waters are linked to the leafs?
Irvyn: We think so, Edmund.
Stewan Seagull: Aye, Sir Edmund
Edmund: That makes sense.
Stewan Seagull: It wasnt really a pollution as such
Stewan Seagull: more like to much plant life
Edmund: *looks at Stewan*
Edmund: Yes, the fungus.

Stewan Seagull: *nods*
Stewan Seagull: some of it harmfull, aye,
Stewan Seagull: but so is th common potatoe

Robert Falcon: So all this has to do with Trinsic?
Irvyn: It has shown itself in Trinsic, Robert ... that does not mean it is only here.
Robert Falcon: *nods*

Stewan Seagull: What did the seeker seek?
Forest Oracle: The seeker that found looked for the knowledge of the life.

Stewan Seagull: For what purpose?
Forest Oracle: The leaf craved for the life as it did for the light.

Stewan Seagull: He sought to break the circle?
Forest Oracle: *shivers slightly in the breeze*

Stewan Seagull: did the seeker try to take more life then was his?
Forest Oracle: That what is sought is not always what is found.
