[OOC – this is long but I’m posting it in its entirety because it made me laugh and it was a marvellous bit of RP by Adam and Alraune.

Irvyn: Please, have a seat. *gestures politely*
Alraune Kestrel: *settles*
Adammair Walker: *slight smile*
Alraune Kestrel: How may I be of assistance?
Irvyn: Oh... not assistance.
Alraune Kestrel: *folds her hands in her lap*
Irvyn: I have something for you. *smiles*
Alraune Kestrel: *arched brow* For me?
Adammair Walker: *smiles*
Irvyn: *passes a box across the table*
Alraune Kestrel: *tilts her head* *eyes on the Duke*
Adammair Walker: *peers casually over her shoulder*
Alraune Kestrel: *opens the box* *lifts her brow*
Adammair Walker: *baffled*
Irvyn: I hope it is acceptable... you expressed a wish for one.
Alraune Kestrel: Oh my....
Irvyn: I am sure another home can be found if you would rather not take it.
Alraune Kestrel: *opens the box* Oh....it's...it's adorable!
Adammair Walker: i cant see it ... what is it Alraune? tis tiny ...
Alraune Kestrel: *lifts the squirrel out of the box*
Adammair Walker: we will keep it in the crystal aye?

Adammair Walker: *sighs*
Alraune Kestrel: *grins* *looks around* Oh my... I've lost it already... *looks under the desk*
Irvyn: They can move very fast ... I can hear it.
Adammair Walker: *incredibly relieved* well twas fate aye? she wasn’t meant to have one.
Irvyn: *strokes Bianca and smiles* It will worm its way into your heart, Adam.
Alraune Kestrel: *frowns at Adam*
Irvyn: *puts some apples on the desk* You will need to feed it quite often, especially while it is growing.
Alraune Kestrel: *grins* See Adam? Isn't it adorable? *pets lovingly*
Adammair Walker: we are... blessed
Irvyn: *smiles*
Alraune Kestrel: I'll call her Pearl *smiles*
Adammair Walker: Pearl ...
Alraune Kestrel: *lavish petting*
Adammair Walker: I am sure we will all be grand friends. you me Pearl
Irvyn: I am sure you will. *smiles at Alraune and Pearl* Alraune loves it already.
Alraune Kestrel: *wide grin*
Adammair Walker: *weak smile* if it please milady then it pleases me
Irvyn: *strokes Bianca and smiles*
Alraune Kestrel: Thank you, your Grace
Irvyn: You are very welcome.
Alraune Kestrel: You are incredibly generous
Irvyn: I hope she gives you as much pleasure as Bianca gives me.
Adammair Walker: aye... generous
Alraune Kestrel: *smiles*
Adammair Walker: where will it sleep alraune?
Alraune Kestrel: Adam...
Adammair Walker: aye?
Alraune Kestrel: *looks at him We can make a bed in our room
Adammair Walker: aye, what joy we will find with it there, chittering in the darkness
Alraune Kestrel: Until it's older, of course. Then she can sleep in the Salon.
Irvyn: *looks at Adam consideringly*
Alraune Kestrel: Oh Adam...

Alraune Kestrel: He's just afraid I won't pet him as much. *winks at the Duke*
Irvyn: *chuckles* Ah... jealousy.
Adammair Walker: that's it, jealousy pure and simple
Alraune Kestrel: *cuddles*
Adammair Walker: i wonder ...
Alraune Kestrel: Aye?
Adammair Walker: nothing nothing
Irvyn: *looks at him enquiringly*
Alraune Kestrel: What, Adam?
Adammair Walker: no ... twas just an idle thought
Alraune Kestrel: *looks at him*
Adammair Walker: i will need to remember to ask stewan sometime
Alraune Kestrel: *smiles* *sets Pearl on her shoulder*
Adammair Walker: they are both lady weas-- animals aye?
Irvyn: *smiles at Alraune and Pearl* Squirrels, Adam.
Alraune Kestrel: Oh my...
Adammair Walker: aye of course
Alraune Kestrel: You know, I didn't look
Irvyn: She should be.
Alraune Kestrel: *lifts the tail* Aye...nothing dangling
Adammair Walker: we really would rather not have a bull weas--squirrel in the house
Alraune Kestrel: *leans over*
Irvyn: *looks up at her*
Alraune Kestrel: *kisses his cheek* Thank you sir. Very much. Your gift has touched me deeply.
Irvyn: *surprised smile* Thank you... I am very pleased that you are happy with it. With her, I should say.
Adammair Walker: deliriously
Alraune Kestrel: *smiles*
Adammair Walker: i can hardly find words to express my joy
Alraune Kestrel: I should go make a bed for her. Oh! And find some toys for her. Maybe some of Adam's old boots...
Adammair Walker: they eat fish aye?
Irvyn: *smiles* No, only fruit and vegetables.
Alraune Kestrel: She ate the bit of apple
Adammair Walker: effete little creatures
Alraune Kestrel: *smiles*
Alraune Kestrel: Oh Adam...she's adorable
Adammair Walker: *tight smile at pearl* Aye. Makes me think of pretty slippers.
Alraune Kestrel: *curtsies* Thank you again, sir
Irvyn: *smiles*
Adammair Walker: oh your lordship ... i was wondering the other day, does alraune need to renew her licesnse to read cards?
Alraune Kestrel: Oh, yes... Wouldn't want to be working outside the law
Irvyn: Ah... it should probably be renewed annually, yes. But it is unlikely you would be prosecuted. *faint smile*
Adammair Walker: who handles that now?
Alraune Kestrel: *grins*
Irvyn: Kimi will be able to sort it out for you.
Alraune Kestrel: Bring my darling to court and the judge might be lenient? *pets Pearl*
Adammair Walker: *sighs*
Irvyn: *chuckles* I hope the judge would not be swayed by sentiment. But it is hard to resist their charms.
Adammair Walker: or weas-squirrels
Alraune Kestrel: But still
Adammair Walker: a proper justice should be impervious to bribe or ... cuteness
The Sheriff of Trinsic: Will you help?
Adammair Walker: *looks at the sheriff* got your attention aye?
Alraune Kestrel: We will see to its renewal
Irvyn: *nods* I will mention it to Kimi when I next see her.
Alraune Kestrel: *looks at Adam*
Adammair Walker: alraune ... it gnawed my sandal
Alraune Kestrel: That's not what you said the other day at Jakes. She's young, Adam. And teething I'm sure.
Adammair Walker: aye ...
Irvyn: *smiles* I am certain that you will not find her to be any real trouble.
Adammair Walker: we will have to .. raise her. And fatten her.
Alraune Kestrel: *arched brow* *looks at Adam*
Irvyn: Fatten her? *gives Adam a slightly queer look*[/color]
Adammair Walker: make her healthy i mean
Alraune Kestrel: She'll be healthy and fit
Adammair Walker: be safe your grace
Alraune Kestrel: Dream well, sir
Adammair Walker: and may your um path ever be clean
Irvyn: Once she is a little larger, you can train her to deal with rats and other household pests.
Alraune Kestrel: Ooh! The mongbats, Adam.
Irvyn: *nods* Bianca here can deal very easily with mongbats. *strokes her and smiles down at her affectionately*
Alraune Kestrel: *smiles*
Adammair Walker: perfect. let's leave her outside tonight to sort out the mongbats
Alraune Kestrel: *pouts* She's too young yet, Adam
Irvyn: She will need to be a little larger and stronger, Adam.
Adammair Walker: of course she is. but good training aye? teach her to be cunning, survive outside on her own?
Alraune Kestrel: *eyes to slits* Adam...
Adammair Walker: aye? okay, she can stay in.
Alraune Kestrel: We'll bid you good night, sir *nods respectfully*
Adammair Walker: You know i can deny you nothing alraune
Irvyn: I wish you a pleasant day.
Alraune Kestrel: Dream well, sir. *kisses Adam's cheek* Yes, I know *wicked grin*
Adammair Walker: *removes one of his sandal* *straps chewed to pieces*
Alraune Kestrel: She loves you Adam...See?
Adammair Walker: oh aye

Thanks for sharing that Irvyn.

I have always found [in my few brief encounters] that Adammair and Alraune are very realistic, interesting and colourful.

I love them both to bits - and a lovely piece of old fashioned role playing in the Srf school =) [And thats a compliment!]
