Repair Hour Reports

22nd of February

Oh goody, Gwen wishes me to write a report of the Repair Hour last night that was held on the bottom floor of the Trinsic Rose.

Aegnor of Silverleaf and Myself were there first. He told me he was doing well and had been busy collecting the precious heartwood. It’s a kind of wood which can be found all over Sosaria. He looked tired, I noticed. Maybe he works too hard? Nay long after Kent Shelta arrived. With Jern Fretting back I offered him he could take over the Tailoring Repairs, but he rejected that offer as he couldn’t stay much long. With the entire repair team present it didn’t take long for customers to arrive.

That Redhair Tammy was the first to come by, but to my knowledge she didn’t come to get something repaired. I think she mostly likes to come by just for a babble and this time she brought a new friend I hadn’t seen before, a kaldorian male of whom I was told his name was Edward.

Some darkly dressed stranger came especially to see me as his dark leather armor was in serious need of repairs. He undressed in front of everyone! So nice to see someone who isn’t shy to show off his body like that.

A lady called Samantha visited us as well to get her armor and her bow repaired. The Marksmen had a parade of some sorts on Wednesday evenings so we see a few of them during our repair hours because they are supposed to attend that with well cared for armor.

The new elf that joined the Elven Guild came as well. Gosh he is handsome, like all elven males are. It was a pleasure to meet him and repair for him.

Pleasant and polite as always Kason Stirling requested me to make him two new Quivers. Something easily done when the customer even brings the resources along that I require to make them.

Lovely Lydia brought us a big bag filled with items for all three of us to repair. I like her! Not because of always bringing us a lot of work to do, but because she is so friendly! Her armor was not really badly damaged though, so I advised her to have it repaired the next week. Sometimes repairing something which is hardly damaged, actually does damage, but no… she wanted it repaired after all so she would look good on the Marksmen Parade. Aegnor enhanced a bow for her and in return she gifted him a check with many numbers on it. She didn’t have to do that knowing how generous Aegnor is.

Urien came only to check out what was going on.

And then, for the first time I believe, a noble came to our repair hour. The duke of Trinsic himself! Can you believe that? Aegnor, me and Jern quickly got up so we could greet him properly. He had Jern polishing his sword and he requested me to make him a new suit to wear. Such an honor! I did my best on that suit and the result was stunning. Such a handsome human.

Hugo of Kaldor needed some serious work done on all his things. I wonder what he had been doing all week that his armor got in such bad shape! Kaelyn on the other hand only needed her shield and sword repaired.

Another darkly dressed person also needed his armor repaired and while I was doing so I heard compliments here and there about chosing such nice colors for the Duke’s suit.

And that was it ! It was a busy night, but the repair team went home feeling all content knowing their free work contributes to the appearance of the people in Sosaria.
