This evening a force of 11 Guardsmen marched upon a small outpost established by the Haven Militia in Yew. The fort was well defended with pallisade walls and ramparts, however these obstacles proved no match for the Guardsmen Militia!

Refusing our offer to allow them to lay down their arms and depart, the Haven Militia took up defensive posistions in their fortress and let fly with their wytches spells. Their flimsy attacks were easily repulsed by our own archers however, and soon enough they were driven back into the confines of their lair. With the walls clear of enemies we drew mele? arms and charged them, slaying every one of them with only one loss to our own side.

Our foes were not wholly defeated however and a second attack was required in order to fully route them from the battlefield. Again we suffered minor losses, but the victory proved complete and we were able to capture the fort in full - the Haven Militia fleeing through the Moongate.

This victory pairs nicley with the Kaldorians disastorus attack on Stonekeep last evening when five of their men were put to the sword, with only one of our men suffering light wounds.

With Trinsics allies suffering two shocking defeats, they would be wise now to consider a surrender lest they face similar humiliations in the very walls of their City!
