The Search of Sahgorim

Sahgorim slowly lumbered up the draughty stairs of the orc fort and sat in his crude wooden armchair. Asteri had been very precise in telling him where to build it, upon the ruins of a abandoned watchtower north of Vesper, far enough away from the city as to remain undisturbed.

He had been hearing the voice of Asteri for some time now, but had yet to meet his ?Bludgod? in person. Not that this bothered him, by the teachings of Asteri his powers had risen greatly and he is even beginning to grasp a more complex understanding of the Britannian dialect, or ?Tarki-Tawk? as it is referred as.

He opens up his large black notebook and inspects its complex pages.
The text is written in blood and is almost always of orc hand and language. Different pages have different authors, all of them anonymous. He flips too the back, where he keeps his own notes, to a page reading ?Black rock? across the top of the page.

He had heard Asteri's whispers in the night, telling him to find the Gate of Armageddon, and the image of a shimmering gate made out a crude but shiny black rock before him. He spoke of this to his fellow clan mates and they had heard stories of this black rock also, and and heard reports from the Skathn (scouts) of a lecture by Garod, spelt Gaarwd, on the rock and its properties. It called for Arcane Artisans, which with his own Mojoka powers of Asteri, made him a close enough candidate.
The coincidence was too strong, and with some hesitation he donned a large green cloak, which he wrapped tightly around his face and stepped into a gate with all of the other interested Artisans.

They arrived at a large building in a place he did not recognise, and were quickly ushered into a meeting hall full of many different races, mostly Tark (human) , Darkhr Eahrs (Drow) and a excited looking group of Eahrs (Elves), which Sahgorim despised.

Most of the meeting was a bore for Sahgorim, they all seemed to be arguing what the use of the rock would or could be, but none of them seemed to have a certain idea. That is, until, a man named ?Callum? (spelt in the book as Ca'Luum) began reading from a letter, and if he was speaking the truth, it was written by Saktoth, the infamous Grand Wozza of the Severed Heads Clan.
Although Sahgorim had never met of Saktoth, his name is widely regarded as a legend in the history of the Orcs, but also unfortunately he is also considered a Myth by many and subsequently it is hard to decipher which tales about him are true or false.

Reading from the letter, the man began to talk of the actions of Saktoth in Nohkmahr, and his plan to open a gate made of bone and black rock to the plane of ?Armageddon?, Sahgorim almost jumped out of his seat when he heard the words which Asteri had instructed him to find.

Although considered wise for a Orc, his writing was not fast enough to catch all of what Callum was saying, so instead he compiled a list of words which would help him to remember.
In the middle of his notebook lay the words ?SAKTOTH, NOKHMAHR, CALLUM and SHADOW COURT?, which he was now investigating in his lonely orc fort.
Although he tried his best to remember, he knew that without the letter of Saktoth, his search would go no further.

Reluctantly Sahgorim, for the time being, would require the help of the Humans, for he had no idea of how to return to the meeting hall or find Callum.

Wrapping his long cloak around him once more, Sahgorim headed out towards the Tark Cities, in search Callum of the Shadow court.

Asteri's punishment had been swift, but in many ways, a blessing.
His skin was still charred, he had felt the fires of Armageddon.

Sahgorim writhed and sat up slowly, he was in dense forest, not far from his old fort. Slowly he made his way to find its remains in rubble, plundered and abandoned some time ago. How long was he a prisoner?

Taking some time to survey the area, he began to slowly examine the area, he began to notice building which seemed familiar to his own. Forts, orkish forts, Asteri had blessed the very ground with clans and those had came to seek it.

Sahgorim was not even sure if Callum was still alive, for now he focused himself on the task ahead, meeting with the clan. "The first test for the shaman", he thought to himself.
