It was late at night in the Trinsic Jungle, most were asleep and all that could be heard were the insects. Vegeta stood on his balcony looking up to the sky, pondering the last few days. As angry as he felt, he promised himself and Shelly he wouldn?t be regardless what she was to tell him, but the pressure was mounting and no one was there to tame his thought trail anymore.

Images of happiness in his not so long ago past, slowly being replaced of the torture and horrors in the battles he so deservedly returned from. He could hear the screams of Kaldorian Men and Woman he had grown up with, as they fought blindly in the Mountains of his homeland, they were on constant send, driving him to the point of insanity.

Vegeta ran around blindly in the snow, slicing through skeletons as if they were butter, The heat of battle urging him on against the elements. The crys of falling comrades everywhere around him. Which way should I turn? He headed off to the right and ran square into something. Vegeta got himself up slowly, his vision trying to penetrate the snow to witness what had knocked him over. His eyes widened, what the hell is this? The creature towered above him clutching a person in his hand, blood dripping from the creatures mouth and the body, The creature turned to face him slowly and launched the body towards him. Vegeta tried to move out of the way quickly but was knocked back down. He struggled as he moved the body to one side. As he was getting up a hand reached for his shoulder, he looked round to the body, the persons face a bloody mess and his armour ripped to pieces by the claws of this monstrosity, as the man tried to say something he choked his last breath and died instantly. Vegeta turned around again, the creature had gone without him realising. Still on his knee?s now Vegeta fell backwards into the snow and let go of his weapon, he lay there in silence as the snow picked up pace and the wind grew stronger. ?Wake up you son of a bitch!? a voice echoed in his head ?I didn?t train you to be a quitter!?

Vegeta woke up and sat upright in his bed before lying back down again with a thud. He looked to his empty left and sighed as he rolled onto his side before reluctantly trying to sleep again.

Veg retreated from the Keg that evening in great focus, the guilt that dragged him down so immensely had been banished from within. After speaking with the fortune Teller that evening Veg considered it a certainty that he would come across this creature he met back home again.

Though the lady spoke of change of faith? Would Raza find his place within Veg again, after he cast him aside those years ago.

She spoke of the something double crossing him, He knew it would be a challenge but at what cost.

Then that an injury would occur in this battle that will change his life, Will he loose his leg, would he die?

Much could still not be certain about the battle, but the guilt that he could not finish or even start the battle before, had been lifted from him. Knowing that there would be a chance to possibly rid the world of this creature, or at least die trying.

As he walked past the jail and was heading out of west gate he froze as he looked forward, It was not Mordred, nor Shelly that froze him on the spot. As he looked forward though a small girl was playing happily at the gate. As he looked on in thought he laughed to himself. Though his laughter quickly changed to deep sadness. Though Ella was not Vegeta’s child, It stung him hard inside. Veg longed for the child of his own to look after, The person to live on after he had died, to carry the torch of his family for another generation to come. He turned around and headed for south gate, he would not make the moment more awkward for Shelly or himself. Especially now he was almost ready to tell Shelly how he really felt for the last time.
