1. LIKE: Guns n' Roses Shackler's Revenge, More Gn'R please
2. LIKE: Rock Band songs can be imported. Costs 400 MS points mind you but still considering all the tracks you get thats a bargain
3. HATE: Its Rock Band 1.1 There just isn't enough new in it. But saying that the amount of new tracks you get in it does justify the purchase
4. HATE: No instruments on UK launch. Sucks, as have to use the crappy non working GH ones
5. HATE: Stupid Career mode. Unlike GHWT you can choose the difficulty on a track (unless you are playing a set list). About half way through the game you get told you need to move up a level in difficulty as from now on you will get less fans. This is a major kick in the bollocks, firstly you have got all the easy songs out of the way and now the tracks get harder, to add another button in to the mix as well and speed things up presents you with a massive brick wall. Plus if you are playing in a band the worst player is the one this is based on, so if no one is any good at the drums and you drew a short straw on who is the drummer this is the time you invite one less friend round to play....]
6. HATE: Challenges. On paper sounds good, every now and again venues will hold a challenge. The idea of this is you play the challenge against other players on line, there is a time limit of a couple of days and band with the highest score at the end wins. Sounds good, well this weekend I found 3 challenges each one needed me to buy songs on line to take part. Its not like they were good songs either so get the impression all the shit songs no one buys on line end up in challenges so mugs go out and buy them
7. HATE: Extended album versions, not as bad as GHWT though
8. HATE: Don't know whats in set lists, you get told how many songs you need to play but no idea what they are. This causes two problems, firstly you could pick hard difficulty and get 4 easy songs then the fifth is one of the hardest in the game, you fail and lose fans. Secondly you have no idea how long its going to take, 4 songs could take 15 minutes or 30
9. LIKE: Presentation is good, its a basic game but it still looks like it belongs on this current gen of consoles and not a ps2
10. LIKE: Something, don't know what it is but despite the negatives its still a game I really like

1. LIKE: The Guitar. Its much better this time, bit bigger and the strum bar is quieter. The touch sensative bit is also a good idea
2. HATE: The Guitar, it was quieter until after about a days play when the strum bar developed a squeak. The touch sensative is also a bit pointless as it only works during special parts of a song, there is no warning its about to happen (untill you get to learn the song) and its hard to switch to it without looking. My green button is also sticking after only a couple of days play :(
3. HATE: The Drums. Rock Band instruments were a bit dodgy and tended to break after a while. Brian Bright of Neversoft had this little dig about them "You can pick up the standalone version of World Tourand use those instruments, and when they break they can buy ours." Well Brian the Rock Band instruments may break after a while but at least the bloody things work out of the box. The blue pad on mine only register hard hits, if you need to hit two pads at the same time and one of them is the blue one no matter how hard you hit the blue one it wont register, other combinations work fine. There is a fix for this, need to get activision to send you a cable so you can plug them into a pc and calibrate them. Until that turns up my drums are useless.
4. HATE: Extended album versions. Some songs just go on and on longer than they should and just get boring. Some long songs are good, but when you end up repeating the chorus for the final 90 seconds of the song.
5. LIKE: Its a solo game at heart. Rock Band has always been about playing as a band, GH hasnt though the new band bit adds to the game but they havent ignored the single player and the career mode is even bigger than before with lots more venues
6. LIKE: It gets harder! Some explination needed, with Rock Band you can select difficulty of song, on the whole though medium is just easy with 4 buttons rather than 3. In GHWT medium is hard with 4 buttons instead of 5, as you progress through the career the songs get harder and more frantic, it keeps you challanged.
7. LIKE: Judy Nails, best boobs on a computer character ever. Some of the angles you get to see of her are a major distraction!
8. LIKE: Its a game it should be fun! Beginner mode, so simple even your mum can play it. This type of game should be something anyone can pick up and play, for the first time GHWT does just that
9. HATE: No guitar deal then... You have to create your own guitars :( Choose the body, fret board, inlays, headstock, hardware and highway. Also can design own drums and mic. This may sound good but I hated this part of spore, I just want something premade off the shelf :(
10. HATE: No Keyboard support. Very very minor problem but keyboard doesnt work, this makes changing band names very tiresome

1. LIKE: Game sent me the controller version instead of the Solus that I paid for :)
2. HATE: I now have 8 controllers for it, along with 4 from Buzz
3. LIKE: Avatars are used really well, fit the game perfectly
4. LIKE: Online is good as well, much better than Buzz online as the rounds vary rather than same format each time
5. LIKE: Quick game and Long games are the right length for good games and can customise what type of game you do
6. LIKE: No stupid achievements like LCA had, apart from the get 300,000 points one
7. HATE: Repeat questions, wasnt a problem in the first but popped up a few times here. To be fair they arent repeat questions as such but can get the same movie clip played 2 games in a row do get different questions though. In the what picture is this film from round though got two pictures and picked correctly, next question was same pictures with different movie to guess.
8. LIKE: The voice overs work well, rather well. Funny and not repatative. Unlike Buzz who you just want to turn off after a few games
9. LIKE: It comes in a proper case this time, not the slim case the last one came in
10. LIKE: Downloadable content to come, always a good thing though this might turn into a hate if its a rip off like the Buzz stuff

HATE: The game stopped working on my first sodding mission. In Afghanistan reached the first missile, big chuffing gun in the way so I go to see if I can go around it. Partner just stands there like a lemon while I get shot to shit. He was standing in front of the big gun not getting shot, the enemy AI were just ignoring him. Not once, but twice this happened at the same spot. In a game that needs co-op play working AI on your buddy is fairly important, game fails in this department big time.

So no 10 things I Like or Hate, just 2 things I hate. 1. LIKE: Story is a huge improvement on the first. Dom has a purpose and it emotionally moved me when certain people died (what can I say, I am a big girls blouse)
2. LIKE: Reaver riding! Its like that bit in Return of the Jedi with the speeder bikes only you don't have to worry about hitting trees
3. LIKE: Its got Brumaks in it, and not just one loads of them

5. LIKE: Your character is voiced by Bender
6. LIKE: Multiplayer is great, and if you have no friends you can use bots which have rather good ai (in other words they kick my ass)
7. LIKE: Horde mode. One map, lots of waves of locust. Friends optional but recommended.
8. LIKE: It looks amazing. No other current gen game looks this good, yes that does include the PS3
9. LIKE: Its epic, you really feel like you are in a war while loads of locust run around. In the opening level you can look out of windows and see battles going on. Considering the play area is so confined you never feel claustrophobic
10. LIKE: Meatshields, sounds like a gimmick but really works and works really well

For me it was too short to be a contender for game of the year. Thats not to say its too short but Burnout Paradise I have spent days playing and that game is the gift that keeps on giving with even more free content on the way. 1. LIKE: I got it new for £20
2. LIKE: The be a pro mode, much of my likes and hates will be about that
3. HATE: Commentary, after 3 games you have heard everything there is to hear, after 5 games you have turned it off
4. HATE: The advantage rule doesn't work the way it should. Good example of this is I pressed the wrong button and did a tackle that took two players out, advantage was played and for 10 mins the ball didn't go out of play. I scored the winner with 2 mins to go and got sent off for the foul I did 10 mins ago.
5. HATE: Obstruction, look it up EA Sport as 90% of the tackles done against you in be a pro mode are obstruction and should be fouls.
6. HATE: Goal celebrations don't work the way they should, well the just don't work full stop
7. HATE: easportsfootball.com wont link to my gamer tag, wont even give me the option to
8. HATE: Does the game even know what a volley is? Scored loads of them but not unlocked the achievement. Its only 5 points but hey still sucks
9. HATE: England call up after 3 reserve games in MLS? I donut think so
10. HATE: Change of tactics, if you are a bit tired the AI manger will drop you back into defense. Only you dont get told this has happend which leaves a massive hole at the back and you lose rating for being out of position

For a quick 10 minutes here and there Fifa isn't too bad so its one of my most played games at the moment. As football games go its about the best but I doubt I will buy another Fifa game is generation. I am sure there are more than 2 things I like about it but having played it while writing this none jumped to mind. This was always going to be a classic. Aston Villa and Manchester United meeting for the 6th time in the 2010/2011 season. Man U got the best of the first encounter in the Community Shield with a 2-1 victory, a week later the two met at Villa Park in the first game of the season and it finished 2-2. New Years day saw the reverse fixture finish 3-3. Then it was the league cup final, the game finished 2-2 in normal time, during extra time with 10 minutes to go Chad Evans gave Villa the lead but that goal was canceled out in the final seconds of the game by Wayne Rooney. The game went to penalties and Villa scored 4 to Man Utds 2.

It was back to Wembley for the FA Cup Semi final, and it wasn't a good day for Man Utd getting stuffed 5-1. Villa went on to win the cup and the treble with the league.

Things didn't look good for Villa in the final, regular right back Luke Young was suspended so Stephen Wright made a rare start in what would be he last game for the club. Striker Freddie Adu was also absent due to Gold Cup commitments, Shaun Maloney injured and Kim Kallstrom cup tied.
