  | PS3, differance between the versions? My sister is about to get a PS3, and she wonders a bit about the different versions. The official PS3 didn’t exactly contain the information needed. How does the PS2 emulation work for the different versions? (I have heard people talk about software & hardware emulation, and that the hardware emulation is supposed to be better). Will there be a European 80gb version? Estimated cost? Is there anything else that might be worth to mention about the difference between the PS3 versions? | ||

| ok we only can buy the 40gb at the moment this has NO backwards compatability (2 usb ports) however on fleecebay you can buy the 60gb (4 usb ports) versions which do have backwards compatability however i believe as do lots of other gamers and gamer websites, that sony will launch an 80gb version in the uk also with Backward compatability although this is still a rumour i expect the 80gb to be about 350-400 or they may drop the price of the 40 and keep the 80 at 300 (which would tie in with the 360 model line sort of) | ||
