December 26th.
Yesterday was Christmas, we all opened our presents, me and Abigail both got new dresses! They must have cost a fortune. We were to go to the Ball this evening.Me and Abigail went up to our bedchamber where we both dressed into our new dresses. Abigail sat be hind me and brushed my hair, and I did the same for her, as we always did. We were the best of friends ever since I could remember. We all went down to the dining room where we ate dinner. It was amazing, much more elaborate then the last Christmas dinners I could remember. Though, this is the first year Abigail and I were allowed to dance at the ball. *Blotch* The ball was amazing, I danced with several young men, they were all ugly, though. Then, nearly the end of the ball, I danced with Abigail, to a faster song. We giggled and laughed as we danced to up-beat strum of the lute. It then switched to a slow song, the last song of the night. Still, we danced arm in arm, but this time I started to feel odd, I felt all *Blotch*arm inside. As the music stopped, I looked up to Abigail, and i did something I shouldn't. I kissed her. *Blotch* She stumbled back in confusion, and shock. And then my father ran up, and snatched me by my long hair. He leaded down to me and hissed "Get out of here, *Blotch*re not my daughter anymore." I screamed "Daddy I love her!" As my father tugged me out of the ball room, I heard Abigail scream out "I hate you, you FREAK!" *Blotch* As he threw me out of the front door of the woodland keep, I yelled to me "I don't want to ever see you again!" Tracking through the snow, all I could think about were Abigail's words "You Freak" ... *Blotch* |
