Since I'm on sick leave and bored, I decided to share few of my resources here:

Wonderful guide - though slightly uptight ;-). (also gem and stat recommendations might go though a change if the current PTR changes regarding Spi and Int go live as is = spirit and int, but spesfically spirit will become tremendously more useful and practially replace the need for mp5 for holy priests - this is not live yet, however and might not even ever be :-)

for a easier but more whinier accsess of the same type of hints, reading though stickies and/or posting to the wow-eu-forums/priest would work too...

if you are not sure what gear would be an upgrade - here are some pointers. I have personally preferered the Wowwiki one but occasionally check for kaliban as well for secondary reference, especially raid drop wise. There is also cloth dps list in wowwiki, but it seems to be sort of out of date and not very accurate (though I've still browsed in through to see if I could gather me up a grind gear at some point).

here you can calculate your heals and how much mana they take up depending on your talents (still somewhat beta:ish).

(I just occasionally check the tooltips - but practically with a healing meter you could begin to calculate the worh of donwranking and five second rules here) - I havn't found it intresting yet - but plan to try the downranking to greater deal soon.
