All Read: Trinsic Under Attack!

Kaldorians,

The City of Trinsic is under attack, and it is not just the Yew Militia. The report below shows that many creatures have emerged from the mysterious crater on Paladins' Isle and although most seem to be content to stay in that area, some are quick to pursue frightened civilians and can end up anywhere in the town.

At around 01.00 last night, I entered Trinsic and found that it was under siege from a variety of dangerous elementals and other monsters.



I approached the park area first and found it to be infested with reapers. These alone are not so much a danger but a pest, but worse awaited on Paladins' Isle and the Keg and Anchor area.



The reapers, along with a few gazers, had populated the isle, but there were also various elementals of the more dangerous variety, including blood and poison. The worst, however, were the nether vortices and blackrock elementals. Despite the best efforts of warriors in the area, these seemed to be invulnerable, as well as extremely fast and dangerous.



There were also several shadow wyrms. These ethereal dragons are skilled necromancers and can summon revenants as well as raise the dead, and can wither the skins of all those in the immediate vicinity.

Trinsic will not be evacuated unless the problem grows significantly worse. However, Kaldorians should take the following precautions:

1) Do not venture into the infected areas without prior authorisation.
2) Do not chase any Yew militia into the infected areas. If they run there, it's their own tough luck.
3) Do not try and tackle any stray nether vortices or blackrock elementals. If you come across one that has strayed from the island, try and lead it away to somewhere it will not endanger anyone, and leave it there.
4) Maul knights should insure their armour.
5) Drinking should be done in the Maraudering Kaldorian or the Rose. The Keg and Anchor is off limits.
