but to be fair, dondinia holds much the same principles as a paladin, just a more kaldorian slant to it. followers of dondinia are protective and often concerned with healing.

Dondinia is the goddess of nature (and basically life - so her followers can restore life and health to those in need, including animals in some cases). She's generally "good."

There are two tracks for a potential Dondinian - Cleric and Sentinel.

Clerics are a mix of priest and medic. They have chiv, healing and either a weapon skill or magery. In battle, their main purpose is to heal, but they are also defensive fighters (they will neutralise threats to their comrades and themselves if needed). Outside battle, they may heal, treat injuries and act as counsellors and perform ceremonies such as weddings and funerals.
They defer to the Priestess (Vash) though she is currently away.
The entry level rank is Initiate. Exceptional or long serving clerics may be promoted to High Cleric.

Sentinels are more like paladins. They are warriors who follow Dondinia but are more aggressive than clerics (though not as aggressive as those who follow Raza, the god of war). They start as footsoldiers and work their way up. Most become maul knights (sentinel, unlike cleric, is not a rank, but more of a desciption). Sentinels are expected to RP their religion.
