I have this evening had a most interesting if somewhat brief discussion with Baron Octiovus of Cove regarding the matter of Yew. He is interesting in combining forces for our mutual benefit, since he has, as you will know, his own dispute with them. I have as yet made no commitment other than to agree that some such arrangement might be to our mutual benefit. (He also offered troops to assist in guarding Trinsic; this I declined with polite thanks.)

If you are agreeable, I suggest a joint meeting with him to discuss possible options at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately I cannot be available tomorrow, but perhaps we might meet ourselves on Thursday for a short discussion and then with the Baron as soon as can be arranged after that. Please let me know if this will be possible.
