Ach, what a shame...I've been out here in Korea for over a year and a half, and it's been perhaps twice that since I played regularly, but I still remember Kaldor fondly. There was a period back in 2004, after I graduated Uni and was unemployed for a couple of months, that I can say with certainty that Kaldor kept me sane. I think it says a lot for the guild that even now I still recognise most of the names of people posting here (though I'm probably long forgotten...except by Moturdrn - I was in a couple of his pictures! ^^).

It was a lot of fun and a great little world to not only play in but also write in. Perhaps one day I'll write a novel about Kaldor...there were certainly enough stories to make it interesting: violence, religion, complicated love stories, friendship, comradery and one grumpy old general watching it all with the eye of an exhausted father.

There are plenty of people I'd like to say thanks to but the list it too long to say everyone. I will make special mention to Vax (was it? my memory is hazy), for inviting me to join in the first place, to Cal for letting me get so involved and keeping things interesting and to Paladis for looking after me, especially in the later days I played.

The time difference means I'll that even if we were able to be on the same server in Age of Conan, we'd never be able to RP together again, but keep everyone posted if people do gather again in any other MMORPG. Would be fun to see some friendly faces (names?) again.

Take care!

Wow.....I don't know what to say. I logged into Kelen today and went to go stroll through strongholt to check out what had happened to the place and what new buildings Kaldor had put up and i thought I was on the wrong shard.
Desolate and cold, was what I found. It's almost like a physical blow to show up and suddenly realize how much has changed since the time I was able to be around on a regular basis.
Kaldor...after a long time on my home shard and nothing going on, I came to europa and I quickly found your guild. You stood out for some reason, and after applying I was accepted and I don't think I've ever fought alongside people who were such a team as the Kaldorians were. Sure, some of us hated each other. Some of us wanted to rip each others throats out between battles. Raza, Dondinia, Xathos...But when any outside threat showed up, all was forgotten during battle and we fought as one.
I can't believe it's over.
This thread both made me happy to see everyone talking about the guild and sad to realize that talking about it was in the past tense. For those of you who i roleplayed with and fought alongside...Thank you. You restored my faith in the game as a whole and in the community. You made me realize that things can work if you stick to your own convictions.
I'd at least hoped to have Kelen say goodbye to everyone in character, but I missed that chance, Didn't I?

Kaldor...As One.
[And, well, I still can't bring myself to abandon the game I came to love, and I'm still playing UO...though it's back on my homeshard of catskills with PGoH. If any of you want to contact me, I have yahoo at lordvorpalbunny.]

Yeah, Kaldor disbanded!

There's still one or two floating about between guilds..

Theres a few Kaldor in DOT, we had hoped to establish a sort of 'Kaldorian Quarter' of Trinsic for those left wanting to play when A^K "disbanded" and carry on the kaldor legacy, but it never happened sadly.
