New Quest for nice items after Server-Up

Just to let everyone know. With new Server publish a new quest will be added. 4 NPCs in Lycaeum will reward you with items if you turn in Books of Truth obtainable from any spawn in the old opposing-virtue dungeons (shame, deceit, etc). Higher drop chance on critters with higher fame though.

50 Books gives Gorget of Honesty (Virtue Armor Part)
25 Books gives a two-handed double slayer sword called Redeemer
10 a new music box gear (think the one i mentioned in my other thread)
1 some kind of named box

You can find more info on stratics, but too lazy to look for all the details now.

Oooops no ,i take that back its everywhere now and basically its nerfed mages *scowls*
The monsters can dispel vortex's

Its also only in Trammel and Fel dungeons

I got the first 25 easy enough using just my warrior.

Yeah a pity they nerfed mages, and a bit unfair as they didnt affect any of the Tamers or other classes.
Also theres no real reason why a creature such as say an ettin could dispel and EV.
I do like reasons for things.

Yea,even a slime can dispel which is too silly imo.

Everything dispells vortex now? The only idea I see behind it is they thought it made mages too powerful? As is mentioned earlier in this thread, it should have some sense. I can understand a Lich dispelling one, but not a slime, as said. Has anyone tried it against a mongbat?

Bah I must be so unlucky, cant seem to find any books, well I have one but I cant pass it to the quest dealer.

Where did you fight for yours and what creatures did you kill?

the dispell thing has somthing to do with the nether magic or something like that, least thats what i was reading on stratics

Billy just kill anything with high fame...like Ogre Lords, Dark Robed Mages, Demons etc for the best drops in Trammel.

I suggest going to Felucca if you dare. Much better drop rate of books.

Aye- just go to places where the reds dont hang out or outside the prime times. But even in Trammel the books can be easy to get. I have gotten over 100 so far with no real problems
