No you dont have to have Chivarly in your template, most only have it to mid levels. You cant have skills like Necromancy, stealing etc but most skills are fine.

My template has Swords, Parry, Tactics, Anat, Healing, focus and abit of Chiv.

i am a god knows what with thymaval, swords, tacs, magery are the only gm skills i did have fencing but i think i am going all out sword/mage

Got the same template as Billy, Chivalry only to 70...

yeah this focus thing keeps flying up, some people say chivalry far outweighs any pts in focus
