well it really depends on the items you are goin to use i think. Example: Use you Birds of Britannia Talisman (http://www.uoguide.com/Library_Talis...andom_Summoner) or Life of Travelling Minstrel ( http://www.uoguide.com/Library_Talis..._Curse_Remover ) talisman, which both give +10 skill and this way get above the 720 skill cap, same about armor pieces and jewelry.

Cool, would probably get the Birds of Britannia Talisman and some jewlery to get taming and lore above 100.
Would I need to buy a powerscroll to get them above 100 or would they be enough, even though my cap would be at 100?

Also is it possible to trade library talismans amongst other chars, Billy has done the library quest, cant really be bothered doing it again.

Yes you need powerscrolls to increase beyond 100 even with jewelry. You can trade talisman between chars unless it has the special property "owned by" (like blessed but only usable by the char who first equipped it) but that is rather rare and not likely you will come across such an item.

800Mb is quite a lot, true... but if you compare it with the beta download for Vanguard... *shivers remembering the 20 gigas download*. Yes... 20 gigas. 11 for the normal game, plus the rest for updates... During beta they managed to reduce it. It was so huge because they didn't have, like other games '1 tree', repeat tree many places. They had lots of trees... etc.

Hey guys, been a while.
I've been playing on an american freeshard, runs just as good, its free of course, AND they play by the old rules, you can actually have a vanq mace, how nice is that?? Could be fun to start something there.
Been thinkin about doing something alike the spartans from 300, a bit like KT, but without the ethics, slaying is just our culture..
Anyhow, i hope you are all well, im in Singapore currently, away from the winter cold, lots of brits here though :P
See you all

Falc

Also thought I'd add a little "hello" aswell. It was some weeks ago I inacivated both of my UO accounts. I simply don't have time to play anymore. When I play I usually play Company of heroes and other singleplayer games. Lately I've been quite intrested in the comming Online game called Age of Conan. Might try it out. Anyone else intrested?

Atm I don't have much time to play at all, my military training and service is a bit more intense than I thought it would be. So no playing UO for me. On the weekends I spend my time on other things than games =-/.

Nice to see that people still keep to UO, I'm sure I won't find another game that'll be more addictive than what UO has. Taken away my youth it has! *waves fist*

Take care for now, I might jump in again from time to time to see whats going on!

/Gabriel

Hi all,

i was also very interested in Age of Conan at first. But i dont like to be forced to preorder AND purchase the Collectors Edition for around 70 Euro in order to get nice ingame items from the beginning. I think a Collectors Edition is nice to have, if there are only additional inbox items. But a game that launches the way Age of Conan does already moves in the wrong direction. I guess you wont have to wait long when they release items you have to buy with real money from online shop. The game looks tempting though but i feel missing the preorder already gives your character a drawback. I rather wait for Darkfall and stick with UO until then.
