For those who may have missed it below is Prince Orlandos farewell speech

thank You everyone
I must confess, I am somehow overwhealmed by so many present here
*takes a bottle of wine and a spoon*
*makes a sound with the bottle and spoon*
Ladys and Lords
Dames and Gentlemen
can I have Your attention for a moment please
can all hear me ?
*looks around*
good
*grins*
I must confess I am overwhealmed
by the presense of so many old and familiar faces here today
and so many new and unknown ones too
*smiles*
certainly
when I arrived in this land
and was fighting for my life
running from murderes
and ferocious timber wolfes
the land of Britannia
did not seem so hospitable
as it does today
*grins*
many things have changed
and its only befitted
for an elderly Gentleman
like myself
*grins*
to leave this new world
to the young ones
some of the Brethren
where sad today
even I keep telling them
this is a joyus day
imagine how it is for me
to experience all this
so many friends
gather here to say farewell
how can anyone be sad on a day like this
lets be merry
raise Your glasses
and toast with me
for the bright
new future of Britannia
*smiles*
*looks around with his goblet in the right hand*
*nods to everyone*
*drinks*
just a few more words
and You can all direct the attention
towards teh drinks and food
if theres one thing
I will allways remember
then its this day
what I feel is important
can best be expressed
through shareing with You
a dream I had
I was walking in a graveyeard
looking at the Tomestones
I noticed
how all of them showed
the lifes of very short spans
1412 to 1420
1411 to 1415
all of them
and I wondered
then I saw a grave digger
doing his work
and I asked him
what is this
have all the people of this town
only lived for a very few years
?
*pauses*
and the answer was most surprising
no, he replied
its not so
You see,
here
we only count the years
as lived truely
when counting the years
one have shared friendship
so once again
drink with me
to Friendship
*raises goblet*
to good friends !!
*grins*
and now
lets see what the Chefs have installed for us
*smiles*
hear hear
*grins*
*raises goblet*
great!
lets have at it then

For the ones that could not make it till the end:

When most of the guests had left the party to go home and get the alcohol out of their system, Prince Orlando was invited to cut the ribbon as a symbolic opening of a shrine, south of the tavern, in his name.

Inside the shrine Orlando then spoke some words. He quoted a song to emote his state of mind at that moment. I cant recall the exact words (maybe someone else that was there can) but when he was done he walked away into oblivion whistling and he looked happy.

That image of Orlando being releived and happy is one that I will remember.

Shanna took a relatively mixed group to attack the Juka stronghold in Wrong Dungeon. Veteran warriors in the party were Marcuss Uncas Daniel and Vald. Lanfear,Tean,Davos were the lesser exp. After wiping the floor with a number of Juka Warrior Mages and Golems we moved onto take on some Juka Lords and Overseers. Having fought with great valor and courage we sucummed to overwelming odds and all died. Although dead all members showed what courage KT has against the odds.MAY THE VIRTUES PREVAIL.

Monday eve about 10pm (GMT) there was an warning from Tess saying that she had beeen killed trying to save taen from BDA's capture, unfortunatly she failed and came back to templewood where she was baught back to life once again, Wedge and Octavia came to templewood and showed Taens robe as evidance that they had her captured.. They demanded that Lady Noxy went with them unarmed to where they were holding Taen, and that the rest of us were to stay in templewood or they would instantly kill Taen on sight of us.

A few minutes later Phil came over to us and he decided that we should sit around and that we should indeed go after them, so he lead the banner to the cross roads which is where we thaught they would be holding Taen, and where they would have taken Lady noxy.

As soon as we got there, the Bda started to attack and killed Taen, then they fled out of sight,

We healed Taen, and then Garm alv the judge started to attack noxy for reason i am not sure of, so the chase was then on to get Garm, myself, Mikal and Taen managed to slay Garm.

Light was fading and myself and Mikal were keeping an eye out for those BDA that we suspected were still around somewhere in the buildings or forrests around us. The bad did eventually come back and a small skirmish occured, we were succesful in the end although taen and myself lost our lives to them, But in time we were healed and all went back to templwood slightly tired from the battle that ahd occured.
The Knigts Templar Successful once again against the BDA,!!

Official report for KT, Ltnt Commander Philkaos

Subject: Caravan to Yew

Specially appointed by the Regent Lord Barahir himself a caravan of goods including bandages, food and blankets as well as clothes was sent to the town of Yew in order to help the local populations severely hurt by the recent war. I've had the pleasure to lead the detachment responsible for the security of the goods. Built of several units from the Guards of Spiritwood, the Ordre du Temple and the Knights Templars, the caravan gathered in Templewood at around eight in the morning, goods themselves were withdrawn from the resources of Beaufort, to leave at 10 in the morning. 2 days of harrassing journey under the heavy sun followed, before we made it to Stonekeep. There we could rest our mounts and refresh ourselves with fresh water.
Presenting the letter of order from the regent allowed us the Guard officer in duty to grant the caravan passage through the town. Therefore we pushed to the main city and found there nothing else then desolation and havoc, all citizens having fled to the countryland so as to avoid the rude fights Blackthorn's minions and the forces of Virtues and Light were still having after 3 days of bloodbath. After a few skirmishes with the enemy troops we managed a way to the Empath Abbey and delivered the goods to the monks so that they can put them on good use towards helpeing the populations in distress. Disband of the company was called right afterwards.

May the Virtues prevail!

This Evning we had plans for lowering the numbers of Jukas in the area of Minoc...

Me and Prince Orlando had each banners for the skirmish and the first route went smothly with just some accidents...

After slaying Jukas after Jukas we reached the center of the town and at the miners guild Matewan we had to retreat inside the building and let the warriors stand strong and block the doorway in...so we did and the extremly powerfull wave of Jukas, Betrayers, Chaos dragons, bog things and their minions we succeded to fight down the assault against us...

After we gathered us together we traveled back to Templewood and reoranised and resuplied for next battle...

The second Battle was with alot less people cos 2/3 of the force had heard of a Lich gathering at the old famous lich room...

since I followed on the second attack to Minoc I can't tell about that tale but strong and proud we 5 men who where left ventured to Minoc again to lower the numbers...

we made it as first time and took the same route but this time we didn't faced many enemys on the road to their infestion...
With ease we traveled forward and slayed every enemy in our way and came back to the old battleplace we where at earlier...
It all seemed calm and we almost thought they had runned away when 3 waves of enemys surounded us and cut the retreat way completly...
We stod strong and proud and slew everything that came near but at the end even we got tired and with corpses all around us of foul enemys and cut limbs we couldn't stand it anymore...
Luckily Prince Orlando with his experience fooled them away and runned back and woke us up from our uncontinus and broght us back through a portal...

A message taken from a pigeon bearing the marks of Sir Mikal:
"I have hidden a book somewhere i the town of Cove so that the enemy who are chasing me can't find it. However it won't stay hidden for long, and they are the Masters of Diguise. I need you to find the book quick!"

"We must go now," urged Fiu, Kiana nodded whilst searching for her runebook, "here I have a rune for Cove, quick!"
"Kal Ort Por," they said in unison, before magically teleporting outside of the Bank of Cove.
"We must search the buildings," Kiana said as she slammed open the door to the Bank. Fiu moved swiftly passed her, trying the row of chests on the Western wall, "There all locked," he cried, as he tried to pull them open with his bare hands.
Where, oh where, could Mikal have left the damm thing! Then Kiana had a thought, "The docks Fiu!"
"Yes!" He shouted, excitedly rushing back outside, rummaging through the barrels there.
"I have it!!" Fiu quickly opened the book, muttering as he read at astonishing speed, "It says, There are rumours of an Orchish Invasion from the nearby Fort, I need you two, to capture the Orc Warlord named "Wazage'arath". Please do not wait another moment, quickly!!!"
With out a second thought on the matter, Fiu and Kiana set of at a sprint out of the City Gates, and in the direction South West, towards the Orc Fortres.

"My God!" Exclaimed Kiana, "How the hell can we get through that lot?" As she was looking over theranks of Orc Warriors, ambling around, cursing, and generally being Orcs!
"There!" Shouted Fiu, pointing to a large Orc running further into the Hold. It was the Orc Warlord
"STOP, STOP!" Fiu screamed as he charged the enterance of the Fort, his battle axe swinging wildly over his head. Kiana was at his heels, broadsword and kite shield in hands.
They burst through the unruly Orc'ish defence, swinging at all that moved, Fiu at the front cleaving a path through, with Kiana bringing up the rear swiftly picking off the odd one.
They chased the Warlord into a small pen, "STAY STILL ORC, OR DIE!!" screamed Kiana, as Fiu immediatly turned to guard the entrance from the hordes of angry Orcs.
"GUNDARNG, YOU WILL DIE HUMANS!!!"Screamed the Warlord, as Kiana grabbed him. The fight was hard, Kiana and Fiu were fighting together versus 30 orcs. They were great warriors, but one thing was more importent, The Warlord! He had pushed past the Templars, and started to run deerer into the Fort.
Fiu and Kiana immediatly gave chase, knocking the small band of remaining Orcs to one side. They followed him to a small dock, where the Warlord teleported hisself to a part in the North territory. Kiana followed using the same spell, to find a small peice of land enclosed by wooden walls. He was trapped! Or so Fiu and Kiana believed, until a giant Orc Brute stepped over the walls. It was a difficult and dangerous fight, in which Fiu almost died, but the courage and virtues of both warriors prevailed, over the Evil creature.

The Warlord tried to run, but was too slow for the Templers and Kiana grabbed him again. They dragged the Orc to the healers of Cove, whilest some Orcs tried to liberate there leader. Finally they arrived at Cove , and the Orc Warlord was put in a safe place to be interrogated.

*A pigeon lands akwardly at Kianas feet*
"I need help bad! Whilst you were capturing the Orc Warlord, they discovered me, and took me to a Orc Fortress overseas.
I can hear Lichs, but do not know where I am, or what time of day it is. Help me, I could only get this one pigeon out.
*The pigeon dies of bloody wounds and exhustion*

"Sir Mikal!" They cried in unison, an anger unsurpassed, slowly built on each of their faces. "Hmmm Lichs?" Thought Fiu aloud, "where are there Lichs?"
"I only know of Covetues and the Lich forest." Replied Kiana.
"The Forest!" Immediatly pulling out his runebook for recalling.

They appeared by a road, "Follow me!" Said Fiu, running to the West. Almost stright away they came to a small Fortress, manned by only a few Orc scouts and warriors. Almost instantly a larger Orc appeared, it seemed intelligent! A must be rarity for the race!
"You must pay!" It exclaimed, holding out a large grubby hand.
"Do you have any gold Fiu?" Kiana whispered.
He shook his head whilst scanning inside the Firt, over the Orcs shoulder.
Kiana turned back to the Orc, "We have no gold Orc, we have come to find....."
"There!!" Cried Fiu as he rushed past the Orc into the Fort.
Oh dear thought Kiana as she too followed, ignoring the Orcs screams of outrage behind her.

Up the steps and into a small hunt Fiu bounded, axe drawn, slaying warriors as he ran, "Sir Mikal!" exclaimed Kiana as she caught up, immediatly applying bandages to Mikal's deep wounds.
The Orcs were cursing and shouting all over the camp, but the largest one, dressed in robes of black, silenced them with a raised hand. He spoke to then in the Orchish language, presumably telling them to back off. Turning back to the Templars he said in broken English," Humans! I as you have taken my Master Wazage'areth, I will give you back this man. I want my Master back!"
Mikal slowly raised his head,"It is done." He croaked to the Orc before closing his eyes. The Orcs eyes light up"Stay here, I go see!!"He said before recalling off.
Almost instantly he reappered, "It is true what the Human say, go in blue hole to go home!! Vas Rel Por!" Fiu lifted Mikal, and they all stepped into the Gate.

1 week later-
"You both did well," said Mikal as he faced them both, "Your courage and quick thinking saved my life. Well done to you both Kiana and Fiu. DISMISSED!"

Greetings to all who reads this,

The "Get to know your fellow Brittanians" auction on last Saterday, the 14th of September, was a great succes. Though the organization counded on many more people to bid, the day was saved by those who where there. From many different Guilds people had signed in to be sold and the mood was excellent.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teleri/hpbimg/auc008.jpg

The Auctioneer of this evening was Baron Blandifet. He did a great job keep up with the biddings and keeping the order in the Auction. He told me later he it was hard to do but he had a good time. But he doubt iff he can stand so long the next time.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teleri/hpbimg/auc007.jpg

The Auction started with Ash, who was bravely enough but very nervous. As the first to enter the Action the price he was sold for wasnt high.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teleri/hpbimg/auc006.jpg

Even the Judges where present to be sold and with Jeric the bidding really took new hights. He seemed very populair for different reasons as what i hear from the crowd who was bidding on him.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teleri/hpbimg/auc005.jpg

Also the Knights of Templar where wanted. Juliette was the first to go and made a good price for the cause. The topper of the evening was Lady Noxianthippe who was sold for 600.000 goldcoins to sir Lazarus! Who knew that he was that rich?

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teleri/hpbimg/auc004.jpg

The night brought us a nice look on the decoration of lightsources. And the organization did her best for making this Auction a speciale one. It was too bad the Serfs werent able to join this day, as the also would have brought some food and drinks.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teleri/hpbimg/auc003.jpg

Hanse tried to impress the ladies but was in the end bought by a man. Maybe the ladies werent that rich or he failed in his attempt. Still he makes a good price and will might find him with an interesting 'date'.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teleri/hpbimg/auc002.jpg

Lord Kamchack told me at the end of the Auction why he bidded such a large amount of money: "I saw her on the auction block and it was breaking his heart seeing folk bid, as I know her past as slave, so I placed a bid of half a mill and then took it up to 550k..."

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teleri/hpbimg/auc001.jpg

Prince Orlando was sold for 100.000 goldcoins and was thereby the cheapest Knight of Templar who was sold on the Auction, but still not bad at all.

Thanks to all who where there and who made the evening a succes. SPeciale thanks for Lady Noxianthippe for her great idea and the time she put into it.

Greetings Brethren,

On sunday, 15th September, we took the job of Honour Guard. Protecting the wedding and making sure none would pass without any invitation.

The happy place of the wedding, was in the Chapel in Magincia.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teler...g/ktwed007.jpg

And with all those doors we needed all Brethren.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teler...g/ktwed006.jpg

A doubt by sir William about the guest in the purple cloak, who claims he is a Paldine.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teler...g/ktwed005.jpg

Two banners where patrolling the area to keep it clear and safe.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teler...g/ktwed004.jpg

A small peek into the Chapel.

http://members.lycos.nl/Quelle_teler...g/ktwed003.jpg

While every entrance was guarded with atleast two guards.

The Guard of Honour salutes the new couple when they leave the Chapel.

Report of Barbarian's raid on Minoc

Following is the complete file of informations our various sources reported:

Insistant rumours have it that a barbarian horde comeing from the northern lands landed on the north shores of the Minoc baronny, on the Tuesday of october. Some isolated farms and cottages have allready been plundered and burnt down before any serious measure could be enforced to stop them. Even more troubleing, a few sinister men have been sighted on the outskirts of the town, wearing dark armours and bearing Blackthorn's symbols.

The horde is gathering:
http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...arbarians1.jpg

Atrocious tales of massacres follow their every footstep:
http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...arbarians2.jpg

Taking all the rumours in good account the Baron of Minoc gathers a massive force of guards, calling in the Knights Templars help in accordance with the treaties. Suddenly, all tales from the refugees of the ravaged nothern part of the baronny come true, and the scouts of the horde are spotted in the woods!

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...arbarians3.jpg

The two forces meet in the middle of a forest that should never have become such a bloody battlefield. Staring at the ennemy massed in front of them, guards and knights form a line with their shields, point their spears towards the ennemy and wait silently for the charge. Upon the words of the Horde's presumed warchief, 'For the grey wolf, charge!!!!', the barbarians jump on the lines of the defenders. One moment everything seems to be lost, but the shields wall resists the shock and the defenders of Minoc gain the ground metre after metre.

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...arbarians4.jpg

The Blackthorn's followers, apparently allied with the horde for the occasion, charges at its turn, but it is too late for them. The Defenders are controlling the ground despite the resistance of the dark knights, the city is saved!

For the beginning of the event all met by the Bank of Haven, and after solving a little problem *coughs* with the guilds war status each team was gated to its base.

The first bout took place right inside the city of Haven, which revealed to be an poor choice, mages not being able to cast spells on their opponents in the guarded area *sighs*
Still the battle raged, Templars winning the Vesper Trading Company cloak after a hard fight, then charging into the town after a vesperian squad. The main alley was the theatre of the main assault:

The Brotherhood of the Dark Age joins the frey:

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...lkaos/BCL1.jpg

The Knights try to get a third cloak off the dark followers:

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...lkaos/BCL4.jpg

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...lkaos/BCL3.jpg

In the meantime, the Kaldorian team charges on the back of the Brotherhood of the dark age, but finally they are repelled and Vaxan runs for his life!

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...lkaos/BCL5.jpg

The 'merchants' of Vesper, after recovering from their early defeat finally rips the Brotherhood off and gets their cloak:

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...lkaos/BCL2.jpg

Finally the Templars lost their extra cloak and the fight turned into a huge mess, none of the teams willing to leave the ground to the others:

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...lkaos/BCL7.jpg

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...kaos/BCL12.jpg

By the end of the round, the results were the following:
KT - 1 cloak
BDA - 0 cloak
-V- 1 cloak
A^K - 1 cloak
VTC - 2 cloaks

Second round took place outside the town, in the wilds. All teams were dispatched in the country

On first the Kaldorians raid the Vesper Trading Company base and gets their cloak:

While the Templars hold their ground and prepare to recieve te charge:

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...lkaos/BCL9.jpg

The battle is uncertain for a long time, the Kaldorians getting stopped by the Brotherhood of the Dark Age on the shores of Haven, the Templars charged through the Vesperian forces without managing to disperse them.

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...kaos/BCL10.jpg

But after some time, the Brotherhood united between its two cloaks wearers ends up chasing isolated fighters, getting there their third cloak:

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...lkaos/BCL6.jpg

While the Vesper Trading Company gets two cloaks by picking up one team after the other.

By the end of the round the results were the following:
KT - 0 cloak
BDA - 3 cloaks
-V- 0 cloak
A^K - 0 cloak
VTC - 2 cloaks

The third round was restricted to the Bridge area and only three teams took part, the Kaldorians and most of the Vesper folks being called by other duties. One of the team took the base in the middle of the bridge, while the two others took one side each.
The knights have to face the charge of the Vesper Trading Company at first, which they repel, not without any losses. But then the Brotherhood of the Dark Age came in and cut the knight's defences into pieces, gaining their cloak. after that most of the fights took place around the templars bases, them getting opponents one after the others, but never succeeding in gaining their cloak back. The Brotherhood managed to keep their cloaks wearers alive and stand the ground, while the Vesper Trading Company launghes repeated attacks on them, but nothing works. In the meantime Maurice takes his cloak into safety, running at a *coughs* fair distance of the main battlefield. By the end of the round, results are the following:

KT- 0 cloak
BDA - 2 cloaks
VTC - 1 cloak

Final results were given after some erm deliberations (understand, 2 free for all matches )

Winning teams: BDA and VTC with 5 cloaks each
Second: A^K, -V-, KT with 1 cloak each

http://perso.club-internet.fr/michae...kaos/BCL11.jpg

I would like to personnally thank all of you who attended the event, even if you took part with shortened teams, all of you did great! And allowed the event to be successfull. I do hope everyone had as fun as i had, thanks again

The day started like normal, Litany was at her favourite mining spot, digging up some Agapite ore, for her new BOD. She had just finished smelting it, when a pair of ruffians confronted her.
They told her to work for them, or face the wrath of Wolves!

Obviously this was to dangerous for her to risk, so she started mining along the cliff face. In the pretence of continuing her mining, quietly sneaked down, entered a building and smelted her ore. When she left, she looked around and saw no one was watching her, taking her one chance she ran for town screaming "HEELLLLPPPP!" at the top of her voice.

Once reaching the bank she met some soldiers all resplendent in their armour, and shields. She told them of her encounter and it seemed they had already heard of the matter. Soon the Baron arrived and they set off for the mines.

http://www.clayton4.karoo.net/min.JPG

After a long walk they reached the first mine, and came across a few ruffians, with no tunics! *cheeks go red* They then began a fight...
http://www.clayton4.karoo.net/miner.JPG
http://www.clayton4.karoo.net/mine.JPG
....which was quickly over with no loses to the brave warriors. The nasty men had fallen!*claps happily*

We then entered the cave and rescued the miner that was traped there.
http://www.clayton4.karoo.net/miners.JPG

Continuing our search, we found another cave, we still hadn't reached the one I had fled from, and met four more of these nasty men.
http://www.clayton4.karoo.net/minersI.JPG
They started fighting, and were quickly put down *giggles*
http://www.clayton4.karoo.net/minersII.JPG

We then found the final cave, where I had been seen, as soon as they neared the entrance, green fields that smelled awful appeared in the ranks of the goodies.
http://www.clayton4.karoo.net/minersIII.JPG

Despite this early assault, the baddies were quickly dead and we were victorious, with much rejoicing!
http://www.clayton4.karoo.net/minersIIII.JPG

Still they did manage to hurt afew of the goodies abit, but not badly! The Baron I hear got a nasty scratch on his hand, from when he'd hit one of them in the face to hard, and then we won!!

Signed Litany.

A journal entry by Turcopole Meliadoul, unknown date.

It is with some worry I make the following entry, for I do not believe the events which have transpired this day will be the end of dealings with the new tribe to the north.
I began the day as per usual, reporting for duty to the Temple where I was soon given orders to accompany Sir Gendin on a patrol of Minoc and the surrounding area. Being just an Auxiliary, I had little knowledge that Minoc had been experiencing problems with some new raiders.
When we reached Minoc, our arrival was heralded by a greeting from the Baron of Minoc and some of his men. I admit, until Sir Gendin informed me otherwise, I was not aware that the honourable Baron Robert was of noble blood, for he did not seem a particularly refined man. Still, who am I to question the traits of those more learned than I?
http://www.sayuri.ca/~shadowc/stuff/barb1.jpg

It was not long before I was soon made aware of this northern menace, for a young common girl made her way hastily towards screaming for help. We were quickly informed that a large number of barbarians were taking slaves from the local mines and forcing them to toil in mines further to the north.
I was not paying particular attention to the conversation that transpired between the commoner and those in charge for I merely await the command of my superiors, but I was soon given orders to march quickly to the north where we would investigate the girl's claims further.
http://www.sayuri.ca/~shadowc/stuff/barb2.jpg

After some time travelling to the north, we soon came upon one of the caves and indeed, outside were two scruffily dressed men carrying large brutish weapons. Under their care appeared to be a pack of wolves. Surely these were not civilised men, and their character soon became apparent when they became most unco-operative in our investigation. Indeed, they and their "pets" eventually attacked our brave band but they did not last long for we were soon cleaning their blood from our blades.
http://www.sayuri.ca/~shadowc/stuff/barb3.jpg

After this breif encounter, we found some of the miners that were being used as slaves and took them into our care, after which we were joined by two knights from the famed Order of the Silver Serpent.
With the girls claims now confirmed, we quickly made our way along the mountains to the west where we found yet another cave and upon further investigation, yet more of the brutes we encountered earlier.
Another skirmish ensued, but the four barbarians quickly succumbed to our superior numbers.
http://www.sayuri.ca/~shadowc/stuff/barb5.jpg

With more of the citizens of Minoc now liberated from the unjust captivity of the barbarian tribe, we continued along the mountains and came upon what appeared to be the last cave entrance.
With our force now confident in it's ability to easily vanquish this enemy, we made our way to the front of the cave where we were surprised by the magical assault that we immediately received.
It took me some time to regain my composure, I do not know how many barbarians occupied that cave, but I know they would not go down without a fight. I am sure I saw one of the Knights from the Order of the Silver Serpent fall and if they can bring down such a man, then surely they are an extremely deadly threat.
http://www.sayuri.ca/~shadowc/stuff/barb6.jpg

After coming to my senses from the initial assault, Sir Gendin and I charged into the cave and stood back to back against the barbarians. It appeared numbers were on our side again, but this time the battle was long and bloody.
http://www.sayuri.ca/~shadowc/stuff/barb7.jpg

After what seemed like a hours, for during battle I perceive time so much more differently, cheers from our force went up as the last barbarian fell. Yet more miners were liberated from their short-lived barbaric masters, and we all proceeded outside to discuss the events of the day.
I am no expert on these matters, for I am just a low ranking Auxilliary, but I firmly believe this is not the last we have seen of these inhuman predators. I fear the day we see an unstoppable horde of these monsters encroaching upon our borders and only hope that their own vile nature brings them into conflict with one another before that day.

Myself and Harmony did speak with the Templars regarding this matter the other day and unfortunatley I do not have time now to explain further . But one called Billy Corgan of your order did agree in principle to grant aid in finding this lost girl .

The messenger awaits your response .

It took over an hour for the large group of DoT, SCT, DCL, KH and KT to search every cell and passage way. Only to find the girl unconscious behind a rockthen the arguements broke out, some wanted the girl killed others locked up after listen at this for a while Lord Taggart said she will be kept at Beaufort untill she was awake and well enough to answer for her self. Begrudgingly the others agreed and a gate was open to Beaufort where the Freya was placed into the cell then Moriane went on to tell about the history surrounding her.

After telling everything she knew Moriane said she would go find Freya's tutor and that word should be sent to her as soon as Freya woke. Muldran from The Shadow Court agreed to watch over her and word went out amongst the Templars to treat Freya with care.

Dear Moriane

I thought it best to update you on Freya, her condition is unchanged and I was wondering if you had any luck in finding her tutor. If not me and my Knights will go and visit the mage's in wind to see if they can aid us in waking her.

Yours Lord Taggart

Upon returning to Beaufort Freya was moved from her cell into a more comfortable room in the library. She was in no fit state to run away and it was decided a guard would be left at her door to keep people out and her in if she should awaken frm her unconsious state.

Lord D'vorth helped hold the girl as Lord Taggart drizzeld the potion into her mouth. To their shock the potion did not seem to be helping her wake but instead she began to look very pale an spasm as if she had been poisoned. Perhaps they had been given the wrong potion or perhaps they had used too much, they did not know, but after a great deal of curing they were able to reverse the effects of the poison and she began to look a healthier colour.

It was around this time Lady Moiraine of the Duchy arrived to enquire about their guest. She explained to them a little of how normal attempts to waken the girl would not work as the dream world was vastly different from any normal world, spirtual word or even the void. Never the less the knights continued in their attempts. One suggested a jug of cold water and one very modest paladin even kissed poor sleeping Freya in a bid to wake her.

All attempts failed. Lord Taggart decided perhaps outside help should be sought, and so it was that a group traveled to the justice shrine and located Lord Decardo and Lady Cherry. Lady Moiraine returned to Trinsic to find Aximarr and inform him the knights attmepts to wakt Freya ha failed.

Re: A Messenger Arrives
Freya stands on the roof of the light house. The sound of waves crashing on the rocks below as the wind howls through her hair. The light moves slowly across the rocks and the sandy beach below, revealing the sillioets of a number of wyverns. She sighs, as she returns to her studies downstairs.

Cherry: *watches them*
Cherry: place her beside the pool
Zingarath: *puts her down*
Cherry: *kneels down and checks the woman over*
Decardo Imier: *quietly watches the Voice*
You see: Alured Scargill
Cherry: well there truely is no signs of physical ailments
Cherry: *sighs softly*
Zingarath: *ducks away*
Decardo Imier: Lord Taggart do you know
Decardo Imier: what actually put her to sleep?
Taggart: *shakes head*
Taggart: I don't believe anyone does
Decardo Imier: So it could be an enchantment
luke: hmm
Decardo Imier: and not an alement
Decardo Imier: *scratches chin*
Cherry: *glances up at Decardo*
Decardo Imier: Well we can but try Beloved
Decardo Imier: There is nothing to lose
Cherry: *smiles and nods*
luke: how long has she ben sleeping?
Decardo Imier: *passes cherry a cup*
Cherry: *reaches up and takes the cup*
Decardo Imier: aye a good question
Cherry: *cradles the womans head in her lap*
Cherry: *dips the cup into the pool filling it with sparkling water*
Decardo Imier: How long my friend has she been asleep
Cherry: well here we go
Taggart: I don't know how long she was asleep in Wrong
Decardo Imier: *Nods*
Cherry: *gently puts the cup to the womans mouth and tips some of the water in*
Freya: *moans a little and whispers something under her breath*
luke: how long as she been in your care sir?
Cherry: ssshhhhhh
D'vorth: *crosses fingers*
Cherry: *looks aroud*
Decardo Imier: since a few days
Cherry: i thought I hears her murmer
Decardo Imier: You did?
luke: *Nods thinking*
Cherry: *lifts the cup to the womans mouth and trickles more water in*
Freya: *moans they are coming*
Cherry: *glances around at the knights questioningly*
Freya: *coughs a little and goes limp*
Decardo Imier: *watches the woman intently*
Cherry: did anyone else hear her words also
Zingarath: Maybe if we let her here side to the water, that would help her to recover her thoughts
Decardo Imier: *looks round*
Decardo Imier: What do you mean sir?
Cherry: *looks over to the knight*
Zingarath: The purity of the source may penetrate her mind
Zingarath: in order to cure her while she's dreaming
Cherry: *considers carefully*
Decardo Imier: The waters do lie upon a cinjuction of ley lines
Decardo Imier: thats how it gets its power
Decardo Imier: that we know of
Cherry: *nods*
Decardo Imier: I guess it would depend on what caused her to be this way
Decardo Imier: Whether it be an illness so to speak
Decardo Imier: or strange magics
Zingarath: She's mind-affected
Decardo Imier: *Nods*
Zingarath: Maybe she's fleeing someone in thougts
Decardo Imier: But through what medium?
Decardo Imier: Inetresting theory
Zingarath: as Moraine seems to suggest
You see: statue
Cherry: she did just mutter they are coming
Zingarath: She said we would need someone near her to communicate with her
Decardo Imier: and 'they' are?
Cherry: *shrugs*
luke: who is they ?
luke: anyone know?
Zingarath: but that may be only women tales...
Zingarath: *mutters*
Decardo Imier: Women are wise sir
Decardo Imier: do not mock them
Zingarath: Yes sure
Decardo Imier: *frowns*
Cherry: *raises an eyebrow*
Zingarath: You must ask Moraine for the exact name
Zingarath: 'must be her mentor or something like that
Decardo Imier: There was that woman
Decardo Imier: Belladonna
Decardo Imier: a Gypsey healer
Cherry: ah yes I remeber hearing her name
Cherry: perhaps one course of action
Decardo Imier: Perhaps we need the name of this mentor
Cherry: *nods*
Decardo Imier: then to try to fathom whats happened to this lass
Cherry: i was going to suggest that
Taggart: he said he couldn't help her unless she was awake
Cherry: *turns to Taggart*
Cherry: you have spoken with this mentor already?
Taggart: yes we spoke with Aximarr
Taggart: he seemed quite mad
Cherry: *furrows her brow slightly*
Cherry: did he give you any imformation at all about the lass?
Taggart: not really
Taggart: was too busy looking around
Cherry: did you find anything uesful?
Taggart: not really but Moiranie has spoken to him more that I
Taggart: she may of gottten something out of him
Freya: *begins to shake alittle*
Freya: * You feel extremely weak and are in severe pain! *
Cherry: *turns back to the wamona*
Cherry: *frowns*
Taggart: hmm

Freya begins to murmer, slowly she is coming into consiousness. She is faintly aware of people around her. Determined not to return she fights the feelings to wake up. Slowly she slips back to where she feels safest. Slowly the voices around her fade into nothing.

Freya sits fishing on a bridge dangeling her feet into the water. The summer sun is shinning and there is a smell of blossom in the air. Mary sits reading from a spell book. Listening intently Freya tries to remember what is being receited.

Decardo Imier: If her muscles are afire
Cherry: has this happened to her before?
Decardo Imier: drop her into the water
Decardo Imier: that will relax them
Decardo Imier: and stop the p[ain
Taggart: when we spoke her name freya become ill
Decardo Imier: *coughs*
Decardo Imier: pain
Cherry: *nods*
D'vorth: lets try again?
D'vorth: FREAYA
D'vorth: !
Cherry: *gently shifts Freya towards the pool*
Freya: *begins to tremble*
D'vorth: uhm....
D'vorth: Freya....?
Decardo Imier: I think they mean the Justice of Trinsic
Decardo Imier: not the name of this lass here
Cherry: one moemnt!
Decardo Imier: Is this right?
Cherry: we must make sure
Taggart: *nods*
Cherry: the water isnt harming her
Cherry: i will place her in the water
Cherry: but no one speak
Cherry: that way if she reacts
Cherry: we know its not because of names
Cherry: *smiles slightly around*
Decardo Imier: *Nods slightly*
Cherry: *gently lowers the woman into the pool supporting her firmly*
Freya: *begins to shake voilently*
Cherry: *quickly pulls the woman from the water*
D'vorth: strange effect indeed....
Cherry: *looks knowingly at Decardo*

Again comes the feeling to wake. Again Freya fights. Drained and tired she succeeds again to return. Searching her mind for another memory, this time it is of her father.

Cherry: if she is reacting to the water
Decardo Imier: I would guess shes tainted with chaos
Cherry: some evil must be involved
Decardo Imier: or the water is trying to somehow cleanse her
luke: *Nods*
Decardo Imier: Something of this nature has not come before the Life Spring before
Cherry: no
Cherry: this is most unusual
Decardo Imier: Chery lower her into the pool
Decardo Imier: place your fingers across her neck as i have shown you
Zingarath: She will get wet
Decardo Imier: to measure her life in beats
Zingarath: *caughs*
Cherry: *nods to Decardo*
Decardo Imier: if it rises rto fast withdraw her
Cherry: *begins to lower the lass into the water again slowly*
Decardo Imier: I will be ready to drag her out to
Cherry: *nods*
Decardo Imier: *crouches down*
Cherry: *places her fingers on the life pulse of the lass*
Freya: *freyas heart rate begins to slow*
Cherry: *counts the beats*
Cherry: they are much slower
Decardo Imier: *watches Cherrys face*
Cherry: *looks worriedly to Decardo*
Decardo Imier: *Nods slowly*
Decardo Imier: Slow is good
Freya: *freyas heart beat stops*
Cherry: too slow
Cherry: nooo
Cherry: quickly#
Taggart: D'vorth give her the kiss of life
Decardo Imier: *drgas her out will all his might falling backwards*

Wakeing again, but this time no strength to fight it. Muffled, blurry, suffocating. The cool waters surrounding her. She does not struggle or attempt to break free, but instead accepts the fate about to befall her. Embracing the black cloud of death her heart stops and for a second she is at peace.

My Lord Taggart,

I am writing to bring worrying news. It seems the efforts to bring harm to the dream senders has increased. Some in particular have stated they wish to have them all killed, with little or no regard for finding a true resolution to this whole problem. With this in mind I would ask that you ask your people to be doubly wary who has access to Freya, and always have at least one guard present to watch over her when she is visited.

I am hoping to bring her tutor to see her again soon. If the shadow court have had no luck with this being they call Mirror, mayhaps he will be able to reach her. Please send word if there is any news or developments, or if anyone attempts to harm or move her.

My thanks again for your assisitance

I am writing at the request of one of Freya's colleagues. He has shown great concern over her well being and is worried that in her current emotional state that she may attempt to harm herself. He has asked me to write and ask that you speak to those looking after her to ensure that she does not have access to any implements that might be used to cause harm whilst alone.
I would also ask that you keep an eye on any things that she may have and seems particularly possessive over. Please let me know if you or your men have any concerns in these areas.

My thanks again for your assistance

A report by Lady Noxanthippe about a meeting with the judges

Started Date : 2nd-April-2002
End Date : 11th-April-2002

Quote:
A Virtuous Jerec of Yew?
On this eve, two Judges, Garm Alv and Jerec of Yew, decided to visit Templewood. Again, some mention was made about their 'LAW,' but such ramblings were not listened to by the Knights Templars. After some debate, harsher actions were taken and the Judges ended their spiel in the language of the spirits.

Somehow, Garm Alv's spirit slipped away quickly, but Jerec's remained for some time. This triggered the idea that had been mentioned by the Arcane students which was to claim the spirit and bring breath back to the body. In a quick decision, though never fully tried, we acted and I captured the soul of Jerec. He was brought to KT headquarters where Lady Quelle Teleri called upon her powers whilst Beheim Cascarin, Leto II and myself concentrated on the Virtues. Life was once again returned to Jerec of Yew but he appeared quite confused about his surroundings and himself. He felt that part of himself was missing but we assured him we would try to fill in the voids, also warning him that what he may discover may not bring happiness.

Zaknafein: Does the Law bring back any memories?

Jerec of Yew: Law, that sounds familiar

Noxanthippe: What do you remember about it?

Jerec of Yew: not sure...

Jerec of Yew: Law

Jerec of Yew: yes

Jerec of Yew: Law

Jerec of Yew: I have heard it somewhere

Zaknafein: The Law of the land is layed down by Lord Brittish, and based on the Virtues.

Jerec of Yew: can't just figure out where

Zaknafein: That is where you have heard it most likely

Quelle Teleri: *nods*

Jerec of Yew: that sounds familiar

Jerec of Yew: might be

Noxanthippe: How does that make you feel?

Zaknafein: *smiles*

Jerec of Yew: less empty

Rowena: *smiles*

Noxanthippe: *smiles*

Noxanthippe: You will find out about your past

Noxanthippe: but you may not like all you see

Noxanthippe: but we will help you there also

Jerec of Yew: * looks nervous*

Quelle Teleri: *smiles warmly*

Noxanthippe: We wont harm you

Zaknafein: If you are scared of your Past

Zaknafein: Cling to the Virtue of Valour

Zaknafein: It will aid you

Noxanthippe: *nods*

Leto II: *nods*

Noxanthippe: Are you feeling any better?

Noxanthippe: Even a little?

Jerec of Yew: I think so

Jerec of Yew: very tired

Jerec of Yew: and my head hurts

Noxanthippe: *sigh*

Zaknafein: You need rest..

Jerec was brought to Lord Zaknafein's home to rest comfortably. We are not sure how the rebirth of Jerec will turn out, but we see some promise. We will work with Jerec to help him understand who he is and how he can live a life with the Virtues. We will also continue our studies of bringing about a rebirth of a free thinking,
learning mind and body.

JEREC OF YEW

I remember him he kept killing me * smiles*. Even as a Judge he was one of the more how could we say....... nicer and less obsessed with the LAW than the rest of them.
If theres anything i can do to help with his rehabilitation let me know, could even take him on a small pilgrimage to one or more of the shrines.

Servant of the Order
Lady Katherine
Knight Templar ( Ltnt Seneschall )

Jerec Update
As of last night, Jerec of Yew is still among us, and still trying to find out about his past. It would be very easy for any of us to inform him of all the atrocities he has been engaged with, but I feel it could be harmful as we try showing him a different path to follow in his life. Many of us do not know much of his past, other than his association with the Judges, but if anyone does have anything to share with him about his pre-Judge existance, please do. At this time, all he remembers is Trinsic looking familiar and the face of a girl, with blonde hair and a green dress. He also remembers her being taken away but doesn't remember how or why.

Since his stay with us, we have had some Judges stopping by, demanding his return. I don't know what will happen with Jerec as his memories develop, but for now he I feel he is an innocent needing some direction and protection. We have a chance of helping Jerec find a life filled with Virtuous meaning and leaving his old ways behind. It is because of this opportunity, and the safety of our Brethren, that Jerec has been lodging away from headquarters. It is my hope that if he does witness the Judges trying to enforce their 'law,' he will come to realize how much better his life will be walking the same path as we do.

Last night, at the Templewood Tavern, Lord Kurt took some time with him, knowing his past had arcance teachings, and taught Jerec a few incantations. Lord Kurt was very thorough in his explanations and examples, and Jerec learned quickly. It was almost like watching a babe learning to walk, a few falls but triumphant in the end.

Which now brings me to this point, which I am almost afraid to write about. During these past few days, many of us have seen a kind and gentle man in Jerec. I do not believe this to be a ruse, BUT there have been some tell-tale signs of his Judge past seeping through. I do not mean in his beliefs of mankind or of right and wrong, but on two occasions he has performed acts that I have only heard tell were feats of the Judges. The first incident occurred when he was brought back to life. He looked into my mind, speaking of things he would not have known about. Very unsettling indeed. The second incident was Sunday night in the tavern. He was given reagents for practicing
with Lord Kurt. After the lessons were done and spells had been cast, Jerec's reagents remain all intact, not one had been used. We can draw many conclusions from this but I am hoping that we can focus on helping him find a fulfilling purpose in his life that would be beneficial for himself and all mankind. I ask you all to be on your guard, use your head wisely, but also take into account that you could be making a difference in one man's life that was once considered impossible. This is a huge risk when we don't know the outcome of our efforts, and those of the ever persistent Judges, but I must keep my faith in what we are doing.

I shall teach Jerec again, when I can, and I will try to observe what is happening more closely.

Lady Kirsten, I do wish you the best in your endeavors although at this time, poor Jerec has been manhandled away by Judges Nicolau and Tepic. Lady Quelle, Sir Bah-reeh, Sir Billy and myself tried to follow but alas were unsuccessful. We shall not give up hope and will continue to seek out his whereabouts, returning him to safety.
