Yes about 3 maybe 4 years ago now.

To think that was just a regular weekly meeting also, we used to get far more of us when a battle was planned, so many that we had to start splitting our forces and turning people away to make it fair.

KT back then was a 100+ (not alts, nearly all main characters!) guild and extremely active, but that was Orlando for you, he inspired people to play and make the guild fun.

Plus there wasnt that many other MMORPG it was either UO, or Everquest...maybe a few others.

Battles were soo laggy as well, mainly due to poor internet connections.

At its height KT had 115 players ( not characters ) in the Guild, and could often call upon 40 plus players if needed to attend a battle etc. Such that as Raul mentioned above Prince Orlando used to limite the numbers attending such battles to keep everything fair.
KT had a rule that only one character per player was allowed the odd rare exception was made to any of Knight Templar rank who could have an alt if they had a reason for it but there were only a couple of them. These were known as Sergeants of the Ankh.

It was fun, but then so is UO now but for different reasons.

Do any of you remember Mithrim, he was older than Katherine. When i used to be in game then tons from 6pm onwards all night everyday i used to catch him if i popped into Beaufort to sort out the recruit bags and things. He used to hide in the corners and suddenly appear do a quick jig and vanish again.
Lord Manderville is the oldest serving Templar nowadays that i know of.

Always used to make me chuckle.

Yes i remember Mithrim also, but i generally got the same as you Dec. He would appear and stand in corners

KT was so much fun back then, in my early KT days that was due too our Garrison Commanders too. *winks at Decardo*. I used to get so proud of my golden helm and used to love seeing us all together on a patrol.

Was Kath leader of Brit Garisson for awhile before Lorval took over when Kath became Sensechal, I think I remember you saying that you designed the uniforms, well the Brit uniform at least.

Billy still wears his golden helm as a sign of his respect for Lorval and the other people that were in Brit Garisson and now have left.

Also, did Brit Garisson become Templewood Garisson or the other way around?

The first Garrison was a kind of Ceremonial Guard. I believe there was a kind of garrison in the long distant past from what i can remember Torian told me as back then there was a Capt of the Guard post.
I began the first Garrison which became known as the Phoenix Guard due to the Golden Norse heloms we use to wear. That was mainly so in big guild hunts we could locate each other quickly hee hee as the Guard always used to try to form their own banner. I remember asking the members when i first set up if they wanted to play it very regimental like with commands and stuff or be mellow like the rest of the Guild. They answered they wanted it to look organised and regimental. I was sort of told off by PO for making them too strict hee hee.
Later as the membership of the Guild grew someone suggested expanding the guard idea to encompass Garrisons at the major RP areas initially such as Vesper and Trinsic. Then after these had 12 active men each the Brit Garrison was created work alongside Cbr. If my memory serves me well Vesper was led by Ragnor, Trinsic by me, and Brit by Lorval.
I remember all of you bar Manderville who is way older than me coming through the ranks hee hee.

One of the things i enjoyed the most was helping do the day to day ceremonies which is why i opted to take over the day to day routine when Po took his 5 mths break. Zak ran the Political stuff and Lorval helped run events and other things. Manderville was always there ensuring all the kits were kept replenished, and always there to offer help if reqd. etc unbeknowest to many i think.

Even now I feel that the cermonies are the highlights of KT, no matter what, and it will probably always be like that for me as most of them made you feel that you were really a part of something important.

Brit formed from the main KT garrison at the Keep hence the golden norse helm i introduced for them when they were the Ceremonial Guard of Beaufort.

I loved the ceremonies and things to, i used to love taking them and it always made me feel proud to see when other members took time to attend a ceremony for one of their juniors. I guess its why i spent so much time in KT.

In answer to my friend Billy's question i helped out with Brit as i knew the GM Lestat of Cbr and back then i was extremely active in game so had the time to invest. Buit Lorval was the Garrison Cmdr.

Incidently that was where i first met Medric de Morte awesome Rper/player

My first KT character Rohan was garrison commander in Vesper Ragnor wasnt involved in Garrisons much, he just followed the Archon around as his understudy and eventually became Archon of Magery himself.

Ah yes, i remember Rohan now

I remember me and you wanting everyone that was a Knight to wear iron armour and the priests to wear robes. But that wasnt a popular idea at the time.
