What I (not we) shall allow on this Board?

There are rules set by the www.f4g.net guys that are put in place for the common good.

There are rules of conduct that I would think should be followed by anyone playing the game of Ultima Online as, and this is usually the cry of those wishing it to be anything than this, it is just a game.

A display this evening in what I hope (and I really mean this) was one persons huge upset of an event that took a lot of arranging being cancelled due to server problems, and another?s true belief that said event could take place on another date, was just a misunderstanding of each others concern for what was in the best interest of the game and events arranged there in.

If not, then such opinions that debase another member/poster of this Board should not be posted. I don?t want it, and won?t have it.

So often this falls to Megan to take too many negative comments from all sides and try to be the mediator in those situations.

Those who know Megan either in game or RL will understand that she takes this all to heart, and I will not allow for her to feel so upset that she doesn?t want to be in game again. She pays as much to play this as everyone else, why do those offenders then think it fair to make her feel like this just to make you think you are right?

Anyone who would think me wrong in this (or even want to use the ?she?s a GM so she should be used too it? argument) please continue to read this Board but don?t bother to reply as I can?t be bothered to know you in game or out.

If you have a comment for anything you do not like on this Board, please contact me and I shall do my best to resolve any issues you have with what is written here in the best interest of the game.

Over the last four plus years KOV has had many destructive events that has almost ended the guild too many times, and have lost too many good and valued members and friends over such misunderstandings, and now that we are finally back in the game (not that we really left ? thanks Athos) it will not be allowed in or on what we do or what we have to do with us.

So, if you wish to comment on this Board, please take into account if what you are posting may make another rise to what you posted, they may rise. If you rise to what someone has posted, please remember that if you reply it may further lead to misunderstandings (or hostilities as was demonstrated this evening).

In either scenario, you will not be viewed as the innocent party if you either start or continue such posts.

In any event the moderators of this board will take a very dim view and closer of said thread may well take place.

So, as a final bit, I will open up this thread/rant to anyone who wishes to be abusive, but only if such abuse is directed at me (hit by a Nissan, posed as Sally, drunken bum, quite short for a storm trooper, looks like an eighties wrestler ? these are not new so please be more creative) and I look forward to you replies here. Anywhere else on this board will not be tolerated.

My thanks for the comment, Tagg and Callum, I'm glad to see that I'm not alone in this.

This post is not to place any blame at any one, three or many players, or if they have or had a greivance with each other in the past.

It is to keep it off this board. If any wish to post here hopefully it will from now on be in the best interest of the game.

If not, any who would wish to really should set up their own post to berate each other in private rather than on public Boards.

I am assuming that by the 3rd player you are referring to me. I NEVER EVER wished to be part of this god awful mess VanQa has created around me. I am fed up to the back teeth of being either directly or indirectly alluded to in this argument and have repeatedly tried to stay away from it. It has almost forced me from this game but I have repeatedly backed away from the nastiness or have gone through the right channels to try and protect myself.

I have no grievance with anyone - I am sick to death of being told I have. I wish people would just stop linking me to VanQa.

What a nice post by you Medric - protecting your GM from grievances. What a shame a similar procedure wasnt in place when I was GM of KoV to protect me from the grief I took on board then as GM. But I took it and tried to do the best I could for the guild. Since leaving i have been told that it was better for KoV that I did so. Great - I feel so fuzzy and warm now knowing that what I strived for the guild was all to waste.

I wish the problem could be solved with Vanqa's player but not knowing what the problem ever was i dont think it will be. Many have tried to sort it but to no avail. All that can be done is follow all the rules governing such boards as this and when problems arise let those who wield powers act.

This is what has been done many times in the past when Vanqa has pushed things to far. I hasten to add never has a Mod had to edit/delete any of my posts except today when i used Vanqa's players real name. I will not stand by and let one player drive another from the game its unjust.
My concern is obviously for Cherry's player first and then for supporting the community we RP in.

With the ending of CoY so to speak i was looking forward to a more harmonic community working around CoRE, but it seems our community will always be fragmented in some ways.

My only regret is poor Megan's player getting upset over things with such a display on KoV's board.

First of Cherry, that you thought in anyway you were implicated here actually upsets me, that was neither the desire or the case. I named first, third or many to avoid such, the protagonists of tonights act know who they are (and may have both answered already). I apologise that you thought such and also will state that KOV at a point was run so well by you it was all I wanted to be in, as I'm sure most of the old members of KOV will agree.

Second, what do I have to say to make people understand, this is not the site for airing problems, unless they are with me (see above). This is a post for letting you (anyone - I really don't care anymore whom I'm nice too or not) know what is too be allowed or what not here.

Please only reply if you understand this, otherwise my reply to you will be less than cordial, as it seems that is what is required.

As a last, as I really care about this, and the fact that if another 'adult' acts so 'childishly' with their arguing, then you can call me Medric, Medders, Mike, Mikey, Michael, Mikey Mouse (my Mum's favourite), Campy, Campos, Big Mike, Dikle, Fatty, Hippy or whatever next schoolyard name is appropriate as if I see another childish response to this, I WILL be returning in kind ... be warned!
