Currently I play mostly as Alliance on Draenor, a PvE server. It is however a full server and prone to large queues of an evening (hence why I haven't recomended it so far).
I know that for a while you couldn't even create new characters there unless you already had a character on that server as it had too many players, not sure if that's been lifted now or not.


There's also a group of people here that play on Defias Brotherhood RPPvP server as Horde, but I'll let them tell you more about that.

I quit after PvP became more of a chore than fun, but hear that its been completely overhauled. So actually it may not be the case the reason I quit is the reason I'll quit again :P

I've ordered it from Play.com for 15 quid inc delivery, but will probably be looking for a casual mix of questing and instances, and the odd bit of PvP.

Not sure if to bring out the old 60's on Draenor, might be more fun starting over again. Are there any new(ish) servers?

Loads of servers hun. Draenor's even more cramped than you remember, but a lot of people hit Defias Brotherhood for the whole PvP feel and its a lot less crowded there.

Other than that one there are still several other new servers about, all clearly marked with a recommended tag in the server list. Most of the people you know are on Defias or Draenor though I think.
