We were gathered over 200 players in arena. No one attacked, that's the only place everyone can attack anyone. It lasted for 3 hours with speeches about to cooperate to kill the alliance, a particular guild as well. As we were quite a few former UO players (my guild), mostly UD, we just basicly wanted everyone to die, couldn't care less for who, so we were in :P The alliance raided and tried to siege the arena colluseum, but there were a really cool rank and file troop of orcs and etc outside.
But no one really attempted to sabotage. One IC (orc I believe) assasination attemt on the troll emperor of the "2nd gurubashi empire". Wish I saved the screenshots. I read later that 3 GM's attended as well.

A big problem with roleplaying undead was that we killed "cilvilian" NPC's when attacking towns, which gave us so many penalty points compared to the other guilds.

Yeh I was there heard about it from some mage in 2GE the afternoon of the meeting, amazing how they actually managed to keep it pretty secret , there were 10-20 alliance who tried to attack, I went out there myself after I got bored to keep them off, still got some screenie's on one of my PC's at home, was pretty intense, largest IC gathering in any mmorpg ever I think. Kazragore was the Orc hunter who tried to assasinate Vishnah, from what I remember from general chat in Stranglethorn at the time he did it for a laugh not IC at all. He did come damned close though before he was brought down

Not sure what you mean by penalty points, you would get dishonorable kills which would take away honor so you could no longer rank up in the honor system. Major problem with DK's - when they existed was that the civilians who gave the DK's spawned a fuck load of guards.

Which guild were you in? Interested to know what other ex UO players existed on DB other then those who were in the guild Duo/Naskryl started.

On a side note I walked past Game in Exeter today...took all my willpower to stop me from buying TBC

Could very well have been the largest IC gathering, in my mind it was atleast! :P

Ah, I always suspected that large orc guild which walked out almost in the beginning as negociations broke down for then.. anyway, good effort

I always wanted to see Quel'thelas, high elf home, so nice screenshots. I offer my sympathies on the buying issue, we have all been tempted by the devil in disguise :P
Yes, dishonorable kills, which basicly threw you out of the "pvp-race", which then again made you less attractive for raiding instances. And yes, so many guards it didn't matter how many players attempted to raid.
I was Zharot, in the "Cult of the Guardian", which used more the name "The Will of Sylvanas", as it was a "secret" they worshipped the Guardian. Very fun. We were incredibly serious in RP, so I for one had huge issues of going to the same instance over and over. Didn't find any satisfying IC reason. We attempted to merge with the "Forsaken Legion", but it wasn't the same for me when everything became repititon.

Heheh, once I got my r10 I went around basically collecting DKs, dropped out of raids to slaughter the civs so the raid could do it's job...

yeh definately don't need rank for raiding instances, I stayed rank 6 for the cheap pots which made a difference but that was it ^^

no dk's now although the civs still call the ZERG!

think I recognise the guild name, was that not one of the guilds that banded together to create what is now "the old lordaeron"?
