    (Something Kara came up with as a basic idea for the Order)

    The Order of Honour.

    With the ever growing need for virtue and people to champion it's cause, we have sought to rebuild the Order in Trinsic and replenish it's numbers with fresh knight errants. To put it simply, our word is our bond. We follow the path of honour and attempt to maintain knowledge and belief in the virtue with our every deed.

    At their heart, the Paladins of Trinsic have the eight core virtues to guide them in their endeavours.

    The code of Virtue

    Compassion

    The world is a harsh one and life can often deal blows that Might leave a person broken beyond measure...the duty of a knight is always to the people, regardless of their name, position, or home-nation. Aid should never be denied to someone in need, especially when the knight might have the means to relieve their suffering.

    Honour

    Be known for unwavering commitment to the people and ideals you choose to live by. There are many places where compromise is expected; loyalty is not amongst them. If your word as a knight is your bond, then your honour is your life. A knight should never go against their word or their principles, lest their honour be cast down.

    Sacrifice

    The road that a knight walks is oft hard and cluttered with hardship. A knight should give as much as their resources allow, to the down-trodden and the poor. Doing so ennobles the knight's spirit and brings hope to those who have lost theirs.

    Justice

    Seek always the path of 'right', unencumbered by bias or personal interest. Recognize that the sword of justice can be a terrible thing, so it must be tempered by humanity and mercy. Seek the truth whenever possible, but remember to temper justice with mercy, or the pure truth can bring grief.

    Humility

    With the glories and honour to be gained through living a life of virtue, one must be mindful that pride can often gain the better of us...a true knight should endeavour to realise that while his deeds may be great, or his sword may strike true, he should never be acting for himself ; always in the name of his lord and in defense of the innocent.

    Spirituality

    Seek great stature of character by holding to the virtues and duties of a knight, realizing that though the ideals cannot be reached, the quality of striving towards them ennobles the spirit, growing the character from dust towards the heavens. Nobility also has the tendency to influence others, offering a compelling example of what can be done in the service of rightness.

    Honesty

    A knight's word is their bond. The path of right and truth can often be a long and hard road, especially a personal one. Knights are expected to keep the truth close to their hearts, and temper their words with compassion, for the truth can also be a harsh thing.

    Valour

    Being a knight often means choosing the more difficult path, the personally expensive one. Be prepared to make personal sacrifices in service of the precepts and people you value. At the same time, a knight should seek wisdom to see that stupidity and courage are cousins. Courage also means taking the side of truth in all matters, rather than seeking the expedient lie.

    ~~~~~~
    Ranks
    The Order since it's refounding, keeps a simple structure, ensuring that no knight stands taller than another.
    Squire-Aspirant ~
    All new members to the order begin as a squire-aspirant and ideally are put under the tutelage of a single knight, to help aid their journey down the path of knight-hood. The road is long and hard for one seeking to become a knight, and in this light, a knight is given the decision of when he feels that his or her squire is ready to advance.
    Knight-Errant ~
    A fully fledged member of the order of Honour, he or she is considered to have achieved their knighthood and earned their title 'Sir' or 'Lady'. In practice, the order extolls the virtue of equality and as thus, everyone who reaches this point is considered to be an equal. The Knight-Errant often travels from their home city in an effort to stamp our hardship and suffering wherever it may be found.
    ~~~~~

    Structure ~

    The Order of Honour's ruling body is made up of a council consisting of four knights and a chair for their liege-lord.

    ~~~~~
    Duties ~
    In addition to defending the downtrodden, aiding the poor and preventing suffering if at all possible, the Knights of the Order of Honour also defend their liege-lord, the Duke of Trinsic. Within the city, they are permitted to assist the guard in their duties and are encouraged to research magical afflictions and threats.
    And that's what I have so far, thoughts?
    Hey, I'm resigning, I only joined Trinsic because Kayne was in it but now I'm going to go to Dragoni Templars. I apologize for any inconvenience, and thanks for the experience.
