The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed the amount of credits you have is now displayed on the forum. Over the coming weeks more features will be added to the forum that you can spend your points on. The first such feature to incorporate the credits system is the arcade.

The Arcade is now open to all users but there is a slight catch, each game will cost you 10 credits to play. These credits don't just vanish from the system though, each game has its own jackpot and every time you play a game the 10 credits go into the jackpot and when someone beats the high score they get the jackpot. There is also an option to buy an arcade pass, this will grant you free play in the arcade for 1 year but you will not win any jackpots unless you pay the entry fee.

The other thing to remember is credits are deducted when you click on a link to the game, so if you don't play you have lost them. This also means that if the game gives multiple plays you only get charged once

To answer the obvious how do I get credits posts that are bound to follow you get credits for registering, referrals, being active on the forum, posting new threads, replying to threads, creating polls, voting on polls and a couple of other things that would probably be exploited to hell if you knew about. Bad news is you will also lose credits for deleted posts and threads, though it will be the same as what you gained for them.

Should now cost 10, was a tax I hadnt seen

And you dont need a pass to get the jackpots. If you buy a pass you will still need to pay for the game in order to win a jackpot

Also worth pointing out that if a Jackpot is empty if you play and beat the high score you will get the 10 credits back you payed
