Forums4Games will shortly be moving server. This is scheduled to happen at 00:00 (GMT) on Friday.

Whilst the moving of all the files and site information is expected to take around an hour, it's possible that the DNS records may take much longer to update and propagate. The latter can take a day or two for all the servers to update.

The forums will be opened at the new site as soon as the files are transferred, which means that you'll be able to use the forums again as soon as the DNS records have been updated.

Quick tip. If Friday morning you are unable to get on the forums, close all browsers you have opened, click on start, then run, and type

ipconfig /flushdns

For Vista users, you just need to click on start and can type the command in the search box at the bottom.

You should now be able to reopen your browser and get to the forums. This should work 9 times out of 10 if it doesn't then your ISP is crap at updating DNS (it should take 15 minutes max) or Motty has broken the forum and gone into hiding.
