Boy, I'd love to see a movie like that Jack, but you know, what I really like to see is one that has a good writer. Not just special effects and a big cast, writing is the key you see.

Yes, it certainly would be good to find a film like that and of course, the writing is very important as well.

I saw a cool hungerian movie yesterday. Transporter or trans something, about budapest subway train ticket controllers. Very strange.
If not everyone should see the city of the lost children (La citè des enfants perdus) and delicassi (Delicatessen) two breathtaking comedies/fairytale jewels from the french Jeunet & Caro.

Saw The Covenant the other day. Not really a horror movie but it was alright. I was suprised by it.

Blimey Cal, I wouldn't want anyone to think I was pimping my own brother's film! (Which, by the way, is still on but only in selected cinemas now, but will be out on DVD in November, and released in Europe in October and the USA in March 2007).

Hrm well it did get pretty decent reviews on IMDB - might be worth a trip to the cinema - whenever it shows up around here! 7/10 is not half bad. Did better than the film he starred in as "man on the bridge" anyway. Someone should submit a poster though! Slackers.
