a Zippo lighter is considered a fluid container? It's a metal box with a damp wad of cotton in it ffs! I have more liquids stored in my mouth at any given time! Next time I'm taking the bloody train, the security checks for domestic flights are getting bloody ridiculous. Invasive security checks aside, the mile-long lines at the checkpoints are even worse.

Oh fires aren't a problem. I was allowed to bring it, but I had to pack it separately, in a clear plastic bag. Once through the checkpoint, I could remove it from the bag and put it back in my pocket.
