Might be old, but I got a giggle out of it. Technically not analogies either I guess but hey.

A rather...unfortunate...friend of my sister's has this tendancy to say "Literally" completely out of context, to emphasise the point she's just made. She still doesn't understand why we're all still giggling over the day she told us she "Laughed her head off. Literally."
