| Finally got around to making a top 10 movie list Well, its kind of on 9, but some are trilogys, so i think thats fair Momento Two Towers Star Wars Indiana Jones From Dusk Till Dawn Desperado Monty Python and the Holy Grail Shawshank Redemption Pirates of the Carribean And some honourable mentions: T2 Se7en Robin Hood (Disney) Schindlers List Usual Suspects Fight Club Life of Brian Resevoiur Dogs Too Late the Hero Jurassic Park Die Hard GoldenEye Batman Ghostbusters

| Thinking about it though, I'm not sure if I can name a Top 10 films for me, the only way I tend to grade films is by whether I would watch the film more than once in a row without being bored/switching off. In that case the only ones I can think of (in no particular order) are.... Jaws High Fidelity Smokey and the Bandit ESB Airplane! The Princess Bride Top Secret Hmm there probably is more....

| I usually grade films into top 10s by genre - War Movies, Romances, Thrillers etc etc SO this is exceptionally hard I reckon but heres my stab: In no particular order Apocalypse Now Fight Club The Hidden Fortress O Brother Where art thou? Star Wars [the whole series] Dark Star Assault on Precinct 13 [the original] Reservoir Dogs One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest Dr Strangelove Honourable mentions for two smaller less well known films: My Own Private Idaho Big Fish

| I find it very hard to pick my favourites as some movies age better than others and some are fantastic the first time but you don't really want to see them again. Still...Dark Star...great movie. You can really see its influence (or Dan O' Bannon's influence) on Alien, as it was one of the first movies where travelling around in a spaceship wasn't depicted as shiny and glamorous, but rather, boring and grungey.
