Picked up my Wii half an hour ago, made my Mii and updating the console. You probably won't see me until monday heh. Better dig out those GC controllers as well - and I'm buying Wii Play (for the extra Wiimote) and an extra nunchuck. Mmm.

just as i was setting it all up me parents came home so we've been playing Wii Sports - heh the boxing game is funny, cus my dad used to be a boxer

the bowling game is nice and sedate and you can play 3 player with 2 Wii-motes

gonna play Zelda now as me parents are off out

can't seem to get the Wii to connect to the internet though, only thing i haven't tried is turning off the hardware firewall - that aint gonna happen

Well, a quick round robin of the sports is excellent, we have one superb boxer, a skillfull bowler and not bad at the old baseball

Loving all the little sports games, gonna have to get me a proper one by tomorrow though

Updating on the internet now, had to reset my Router password for it to work, weird

I've had a long running problem getting my DS to connect via wireless, even after changing channels. This was still occuring when I got my Wii. Was randomly detecting the access point, but wasn't connecting.

In the end I reset the router to factory default, re-entered the login info needed, and set up security and it worked fine. It also seems to have solved the other problem I was having, in that I can now actually access it from the living room, downstairs on the opposite side of the house. Wish I'd done it sooner now :/
