So i was watching some movie trailers
on my xbox (using xbox media center), streaming video from apple movie trailers over a 2mb broadband connection.

and it got me thinking.

I couldn't spot the difference between the quality of Standard Def TV vs the videos I was streaming...

so why aren't we all watching our tv/films/videos etc... straight of the net onto our tvs?

i'm thinking of some sort of subscription model. a la sky or ntl. yet you choose when to watch, and what to watch.
