I tend to avoid commercially popular music where possible, but since my boss keeps the radio on the kitchen, I tend to get treated to an earful of Christina Aguilera or Pablo Fettucci (whatever his name is) whenever I go to make a cuppa.

One such song kept coming on - an annoying chirpy folksey kind of tune about America, or something. I was rather surprised to find that this was the work of Razorlight, a band I knew by name only, until that point. Now I don't know about you, but a name like Razorlight suggests to me either some very etheral trance music, or sci-fi rock featuring lots of spacey-sounding keyboards.
Instead we get the annoying folksey crap mentioned above.
I think they should have renamed themselves "Grandad's Corncob Pipe" or something of that ilk, to better reflect their actual musical style.

Likewise, Oasis suggests something exotic, rather than Manchester's answer to Chas and Dave, which is what they actually are.
