So anyone else in the beta? want to explain what the hell this game is and how i got into a closed beta i don't remember applying for?

heheh it's always the way eh - the games i actually want to get into never give me a second look then some random game lets me into a closed beta.

still gives me something to do before WoW-TBC hits the shops

Isn't it openish (fileplanet subs) beta now anyway ?

Alll ive heard is its not finished and it destroys your computer.

no idea i just got an email telling me i was in closed beta - could be open beta for all i know, it is an SOE product and they do generally suck.

what vanguard or the one varyne and aeri mention? cus i think vanguard is still under NDA

I have been playing it all weekend since they went to open beta and i have to say I'm already hooked. The NDA was lifted on Jan 4th so theres now alot of pics and movies people have posted.

I could go into what its like but i have only played one class on one continent so far so its just the tip of the iceberg. Atm im testing out the crafting, which reminds me of crafting from eq2. Anyhoo if you want to try it out theres load of info on vangaurdsoh.com.

to Death if you dont want your beta code i know loads of people that would kill for it

heh i wouldn't bother - it took 48 hours straight to download it

rumour is late jan for release, though i wouldn't be surprised if that was put back - quite a lot of bugs (annoying ones as well)
