Heresy! Coffee only needs stirring if you add anything but coffee to it. If you are one of those pansy latt? drinkers I shall have to mock you and question your sexual preferences. Same goes for tea really.

and finally, riddle me this, why does the coffee machine at work have a buttons for cafe latte and cafe au lait? isn't that just the same stuff? coffee + milk?

lol i was having this conversation with Dave other day as i found a recipe for it in a dairy cook book a cafe au lait is the same quantities of warm milk and coffee where as its 3 parts milk to 1 part coffee for a latte and the milk will be steamed and the top will be foamy. Its amazing the crap i store in my brain

I thought cappucino is the one with steamed milk... our coffee machine at work can make that one too

ahh because its an instant coffee machine and all things that come from it taste like crap

you know, you could be right here. But then again, why has this damn machine 3 different buttons for the same thing?!? I assume if you never tried anything but cafe latte you would not know, but I tried them all and they're all the same.

Actually cappuccino is made with espresso and milk, not regular coffee.
Now espresso, that's the good stuff! Can't get decent espresso from a vending machine though, that sludge is barely drinkable.
