| Pfft read the damned link you muppet! It's a 3.9 x 2.8 inches (10 x 7.2 cm) motherboard with CPU, graphics, sound, everything except storage and RAM. You could build a complete PC inside a pack of cigarettes. If you smoke the sigarettes first that is. |

| heh i know what it is but i'm damned if i'd want one, can't possibly be that powerful (or if it is the heat of the thing would be enough to cook your dinner) now if i needed a small computer for something i might care but i don't need a small computer for anything at the mo

| Bah dimwits, all of you. Except Death - you're just weird for not wanting one! There's a 1GHz CPU on that thing, which is about as high as you can go with passive cooling (no fans). Chuck in some solid-state storage like an SD card, and you have a 1GHz, completely silent PC that could fit inside your mobile phone! Think of the possibilities! Build a PC into your monitor (even an LCD monitor). You could fit one in the dashboard of your car (runs off 12v DC) - add a GPS receiver, google earth, an mp3 player and some other goodies. Build one into your external USB harddrive - instant file server! Hell it's so small you could probably have one implanted under your skin and not notice it. Might experience some discomfort when playing WoW (could get hot) and you might want to think twice about where you position the VGA connector... Last edited by Futt; 26-01-07 at 10:32 PM. |

| I think you're getting a bit over excited, its still 10x7.2cm, much bigger than an average mobile device (phone, mp3player, even most PDAs) so that rules it out of that market. Could be used as an in-car computer, except we already have powerful in-car computers, and its bigger than a GPS system should be. Could be used in Home entertainment PC's, except we already have them much faster than this could do. Best use is probably ultra-mobile PC's which I guess is why it was developed. Overall, too large for mobile devices, not powerful enough for static devices. Gets a meh from me.

| i might well want one of those devices but i'm sure as hell not gonna make one myself, which is the only reason i'd be interested in that thing. as Add points out those devices already exist and are made much better than i could hope to

| You're missing the point! Yeah sure you could buy a GPS or a media PC, but where's the fun in that? |
