So I bought a webcam. I don't really need it, but it was cheap. It's called "Live! Cam Vista IM". You'd think it would work with Vista, right?
Wrong. 32 bit driver might be planned for Q2 2007 - 64 bit drivers will not be available. Fucking asshats. I should call Steve Ballmer and have him throw some chairs at them.

I've got a copy of vista thru work, but i'm not sure whether to stick it on or not. i know it's gonna cause me some grief somewhere.

Wow, you must be like the first person I know who uses Vista (beside our Gfx coders at work who are kinda forced to use it).

Oh and I thought the whole purpose of Vista is cosmetic..."areo glass" and all the other bling bling. What's the point of Vista anyway? There's not a single DX10 game out yet

I think for home personal users your better off with XP at least for now. My friend has had driver problems since installing his.

It also requires a lot more of your memory and HD space..two more reasons not to install it on your home computer.
I think its a must for industry but thats about it.....at least for now.
