Or we could make a really big Deathstar type affair and blow the sun up! No more global warming, but may incure global cooling.

Take everyone's cars away and make them all use buses and trains, but improve the transport services, cheaper ticket prices too. Would get rid of a few other problems then too, obesity with making people walk further than where they park their car, people would save money on buying cars and paying out insurance, MOT etc.

But in all I don't think we're going to be able to stop global warming and its kinda unfair to say to other developing countries that they can't have this or that cause we've already messed things up by having it.

Actually I think you'll find the sun is the single biggest contributer to global warming but even the press arent stupid enough to try and blame it, just as they arent stupid enough to blame water vapour.

I concur, the swedes are to blame. And I enjoy the emp devices mentioned, often thought about it. Guess it's better than having no habitable planet to use our eletronic devices on.
