I think the idea for throwing a crapload of reflective lenses into space has to be the funniest and most ludicrously over the top idea for trying to do something about it. But the idea about having special yachts roving around certain places squirting water into the air doesn't sound like a half bad idea.

I say a free portable fan thingy for everyone! Damn them little propellor ones only cost like a quid at Morrissons!

Make a really really really big rocket that can propel earth out and away from it's usual orbit, making everywhere colder... the years may get a little longer but each time somone says that it is too hot for polar bears or penguins or whatever then you can just restart your rocket, nudge the earth just a little bit further away thus oppose the onset of global warming with global freezing and perhaps bring on the odd ice age too. Oh and with longer years it means that people will die younger solving the pensions crisis aswell!

Crisis averted and I am crowned international hero. Nice!

Water vapour in the atmosphere is the single biggest contributer to global warming. Everyone talks about Carbon dioxide. Only guess I can think to why that is, is that it does contribute and the "press" doesn't want to confuse people by suggesting that water, which is key to our survival, is also a contributer to Global Warming
