I wasn't really going to buy one, but then they announced GTA IV and I just happened to come across a cheap used one so I thought, what the hell, and then I had one. Crap.

Well it's not a Wii... The controller is crud, the games suck a bit and paying for online play is just retarded. But Geometry Wars is kinda cool.

Yeah it sounds like a jet - going to gut it one day and rip that fan out, replace it with something less noisy... There are definitely a lot of FPS games, which is kinda weird, cause playing an FPS with the 360 controller is a bit like playing guitar with boxing gloves on.

360 needs some sort of...olympics really, used to love playing that after a fair few beers and four mates. One thats out atm, seriously crap.

There's really just two 360 titles I'm really looking forward to - GTA IV and Spore. Both good reasons to buy one really - at least now that you can get a premium system (with hd etc) on the cheap, used.

It's usually the DVD drive that makes the most noise

The DVD drive does make some noise, but the most annoying by far is the high pitched whine from the cooling fan. And seeing as the 360 gets very hot, the fan usually runs at full tilt too.

If you are looking forward to GTA IV then you have to get crackdown. From the guy that did the original 2 gta's and has you on the other side of the law. Its rather like a threesome between GTA III, Deus Ex and the matrix. Graphics dont look too hot on stills but it works.

And ofc the best zombie basher of all time Dead Rising, which is worth getting an Xbox 360 for

We're all mad keen pro evo fans and we all prefer the PS2/3 controller to the Xbox one's, met quite a few die hard Xbox'ers heard some good arguments, first amongst which is the price.

only thing about crackdown, does get repetitive, need to try for co-op someday tho, more than likely a lot more to do and more fun.

Dead rising...got a bit boring also :/ Online play, cant beat co-op rainbow six, had some quality laughs on that with a few mates, even more so when you "accidently" blow each other up with c4
