Its shit, and no wonder people download things without paying.

Steam, is great. You can buy things, install them on your pc, games automatically update, can log on to a different pc and install them there as well granted you can only play them on a sinlge pc that has your account logged in but there is offline mode which means if you dont have an internet connection you can still play.

EA Link is shit, sure you can buy things but they dont update and it doesnt link to patches but worse still and whats criminal after paying hard earned cash you can only play games if you are offline which is a bit crap if your connection goes down or you have a laptop that isnt always connected. Or like me am connected and logged in but wont let me play

You try and do the right thing and buy a game like a good person should and get shat on from a great hight

Got to say, I love Steam too, dunno why some people hate it so much. I've even bought games for cheap from bargain bins and registered them on Steam to get the download version instead of installing from the CD. Mostly because with steam, I don't have to swap CDs all the time, and there is no draconian copy protection crap that screws with my drivers.

Steam is great, just wish more of the big titles were released on there sooner.
