Ohh next problem, need to create an account for Codemasters Online Gaming, which i cant do as my email address has already been used, think for dragon empires beta ages and ages ago. So after putting in loads of info I get an email...not telling me my password but telling me it had been requested that password was reset and new one would only be valid for 15 minutes

Can you tell i am taking a negative approach to this?

Ok so created a new account, game is installed and ready to play, well no need to patch but thats expected. But as the game was released last week shouldnt be too big should it I mean wow was out for almost 2 years and to get that from out of the box install to patch before expansion was only 700mb so for a game a week old it wont be big, it cant be big, its 842mb!

For some reason whenever I quit the game Media Center opens

Have played for a bit, and well its a turbine game exactly the same as Asherons Call, Asherons Call 2 and D&D Online. The graphics are ok but nothing special, the sound is totaly underwhelming even uo had a better soundtrack. Cant see myself getting past the first weekend let alone trial month but then maybe the whole install process just pissed me off and things will be better tomorrow

As Aerib said, you were plenty warned about how pants it was. You could wear ten pairs of boxers on top of eachother and still be less pants than it.

No and completly have no urge to at all. Whats good about WoW is as a new player you create your char, get a little intro and then the first thing you see when you take control is an npc that gives you a quest and its obvious what you need to do next everything is made easy so you pick it up quickly over time the quest areas expand but by then you are hooked and running for 20 minutes to hand in a quest doesnt seem like a waste of time. First thing i did when i created an elf and had done the stupid offworld tutorial was find an npc in front of me that gave me a quest to speak to someone else, after 5 minutes of running around I had no clue where this person was and had to read quest log again which still didnt make it all that clear, when i did find them by accident my next quest was to speak to someone else again no clue where they were and in an area with lots of npc's and players was hard to find out where they were. Went exploring and found out i was confined or trapped in this area and couldnt get out, no doubt need to do quests to explore further, got bored.....Create Man character and once done the offworld tutorial I find myself standing in a town, talk to npc and get told to speak to someone else, again its not clear who i need to talk to, i get bored trying to find them so go exploring...again though trapped in a zone so cant get very far. And thats as far as I got

You get a little 'ring' icon on the map but you don't get any arrows or anything pointing the way - so until you are close to the NPC you can't see the ring anyway.
