I think this game looks to change the genre and garriot is deffinetly the guy to do it in my eyes...

I think Garriott has lost touch with the real world if he thinks hundreds of thousands of players still play UO, or indeed that hundreds of thousands of players played at launch, think the most it ever managed was 250,000.

Its doomed to failure though, Blizzard this week are expected to announce a new mmorpg based on Starcraft and if that happens it could have a bigger impact than even WoW had on the market

This is the guy that couldn't fathom that all players wouldn't want to just happily coexist in UO...

saw an update to UO on TV using updated, but still the same isometric view as UO, it looked crap tho
