The joys of connecting to my wireless router

Set a wep key, laptop works fine with it Wii fails connection test, know for certain no typos in the key after all 10 A's aint that hard to do

Set router up to be open, passes connection test "result thinks I" but oh no

• Forcast channel doesnt work, says no internet connection
• Everybody Votes channel sort of works, downloads data ok but cant vote says no internet connection
• news channel doesnt work says no internet connection
• internet channel works, can browse web fine
• Wii shop works, can bowse through that fine

WTF is going on?

oh - and before anyone says, I know the wii doesn't have an ethernet socket. poor decision by nintendo
