Football has the right idea, they have a break for all the bad weather we get in the summer. But still those dumb cricket and tennis people insist on holding outdoor events in the rain

Or even better electric tennis courts, that way when it gets a bit cloudy it becomes a bit like russian roulette. Who will chicken out first forfeit and run to the dressing room

More like the roof tech-support team asked for a pay rise, the big wigs at wimbledon didnt give them one as the roof has never gone wrong so they obviously dont do any work. And now magically its stopped working

Maybe they just need to plug it in. I went to the MD of an unnamed UK newspaper publishers luxury docklands apartment today to fix a printer problem. Hasnt worked for weeks, I fixed it in about 30 seconds by plugging in in. Whats worse than a muli millionaire checking there was power to it was both first and second line support not asking him to check. Luckily he was embarrassed by his own stupidity to question why he pays those people money

They're still building the Wimbledon roof which will be over Centre Court, but the other courts will still be outdoors.
