Meh not that bothered about England really just outside of 4-5 players people need to realise england have some very average players and effectivly a very small pool to pick from with real top flight experience.

Way things are going it wouldn't surprise me if championship players end up being more and more regular around the England set up.

Im getting annoyed by Trevor Brooking keep moaning about the lack of English players in the Premier League

If there is a problem with that then surely its down to the development system.

And who is head of that......Brooking!

Our youth setup isnt that bad though. The England U21 side is good, and the U19 side are good as well. The problem is unlike other countries players dont tend to move from U21 to full team all that often, think the reason for that is stupid high transfer fees set on English players. Why pay 8 million for someone like Curtis Davies when you can go abroad and get a player for the same quality at a fraction of the price. So the good young players get stuck in an average team, never get further than premier league experience wise and never get a call up to england full team because the fucktard picking the team doesnt think they are good enough.

Alan Hansen said Heskey was man of the match, does that count as a hero nomination?

John Motson needs to be retired, made a complete ass of himself again today. Second half kicks off and we are once again treated to views of a half empty stand, why the beeb feels we need a close up of empty seats is beyond me. The empty section is the corporate hospitality area, which means the people who should be sitting there didnt pay for tickets and have more interest in drinking than watching the game. Motson had a little rant about it then admited that he was still in the restaurant area when the 50/50 cricket restarted the other day. Clearly he has no interest in the cricket then, not because he missed the restart but because he called it 50/50 and thats why the corporate seats are empty at the start of the second half, if the bar was open all match the damn seats would be empty for 90 minutes

Agreed, Motson has passed what I call the Murray Walker Point
His commentary now is nowhere near as good, and only still has his job because he is Motson
