| Was released under GPL and when the games first came on steam they didnt include all the documentation which is required. Think they are now including it |

| However, they are not releasing the modified DosBox source code as is also required under the GPL. This would of course show the code required for the steam login DLL (as the programs still require you to be logged into steam within the last week, or however long steam say nowadays) which is never going to happen. Interesting to see what they do.

| They didn't modify the source, they just added a wrapper to the executable. You can replace the distributed dosbox executable with a stock one from the dosbox site, and it will work just fine (and won't check for steam). |
