I didnt.
They had a lot of possession but really failed to get any shots on target until Crouchy came on when they finally looked dangerous

Can't really judge a game based on 10 Italians defending as it can be very misleading

An in form Inter Milan coming away from almost endless success with 2 amazing forwards and excellent defence going to play to a team that quite simply has sucked the the last 2 months...
You hardly were expecting Liverpool to play forward all the time and risk an away goal, even when Materazzi who I think was wrongly sent off took the team down to 10 men, if you have ever watched them play they are still a formiddable team. Liverpool took the ball away for most of the game anyway in order to tire the players out, laying seige on them and slowly turning the screw. So they waited and scored their goals at the end when Milan were tired and could not respond. I would say it was excellent play and an excellent strategy. Perhaps if the team was more successfull overall I suppose people might hand out the credit because I am sure if it were Fuergesson, or even Capello (as I expect he would have a similar attitude) then people would be excaliming their brilliance.

2-0 is an excellent score and when 10 men are behind the ball (knowing they get a second chance) it is often more difficult to score than with 11.

On tonights games I am very dissapointed to see Celtic lose 2-3 against Barcelona, I really wanted to see them them to win. Shame the manager had no faith either so they appear likely to gift Barca a default place in the next draw which is dissapointing.
Arsenal and United both drew in their games. Arsenal looked like they should have gotten something in the highlights - though it could have just been generous editing so possibly Arsenal wasted their chances and will lose in Italy now. I very much doubt Lyon will win by a 2 goal margin on their return to Manchester United (unless Sven Goran Eriksson is in charge!) and of the Spanish and Turkish teams I know nothing much of them besides the score, 3-2 to Fenerbahce.

I expect a Manchester v AC Milan final.

I heard a few arsenal fans, and they all seemed remarkably upbeat and confident fo rthe next leg. Although they are Arsenal fans so clearly can't be trusted.

Lyon only need to win by a 1 goal margin in Manchester, but I doubt they will.

Cant see Celtic scoring 2 more than barca so thats them out.

The 4 English teams though should be fairly sure to go through though, barring some surprises. Could get an all English Semi final!

massively hoping united get Benzema in the summer! Quite happy with the result 1 all away to Lyon, gives us the advantage fo sho, though if we plan to win we're going to have to play alot better to break dow Barca/AC Milan etc

I can't remember a quiet Spurs game, even games where have had all the ball like these two games against Prague

Far too Nerver racking, this game should have been settled in the first leg, and then again in the first half!

Oh man that was real nasty, they showed it on match of the day last night. Not sure if he will ever play again as his leg was snapped right through just above the ankle - so he could even lose his foot... very very nasty.

Yeah it was fine apart from the bit where Martin Taylor's foot went right through Eduardo's leg...
