Ok, so I was in the big blind, holding 99.
Blinds were fairly high at this point and 4 people left

Bloke to the left (Fairly tight but with wierd shit plays sometimes) raises min.
Folded round to small blind (Who is a HUUUGE bluffer) who re-raises minimum

I think fuck it and go all in thinking small blind will fold and i'll be 50/50 with crazy guy!

Well, crazy guy folds, and small blind calls, and turns over AA.

So at this point im rightly stuffed

Flop comes down 987
Turn was 9,
River an 8


I spent about 5 minutes apologising!

why? that's how poker works

the number of times you've been caught out by a bad beat like that has got to be greater than the number of times you've won through them

bad beats are great when you're on the winning end and crap when you're on the losing end

heh haven't played poker in ages, ran out of gambling money

Second level of an sng on Party. Still 10 left, people are pretty even, only one guy stands out, this slovakian who's making crazy moves, he's up to 3k.

I'm BB with K6s, another guy and the slovakian limps in, I check. Flop is K86 rainbow, I check. The Slovakian raises 2x BB, I call, the other guy folds. The next card is a 2. The Slovakian raises 600, very big raise, I figure it's another of his moves and that he probably have a hand like KJ or KT. I reraise, he reraise all-in and I call.

Yes, he had K8o. My first 10th place in months. If it had been Talk Like A Pirate Day, I'd have yelled "Arrrrrrr!".

Ok ok, it's not a huge bad beat. But it sucked.

Folds round to the Small blind who is short stack, who puts about a quarter of his chips in.

I reckon this to be an attempt to steal my blind, so put him all in. I have A7 hearts.

He calls and i think 'shit im in trouble.

So now im small stack and in small blind, I have about 4 times the big blind in total, so pretty much committed anyways. Bloke who took all my chips last time just calls, and i go all in. BB folds and other bloke turns over JJ, which had me beat after no help

Not really a bad beat, but pissing annoying that its the same bloke who lucked out and then hit a hand to finish me off

But then my full house got beaten by a better one, and my straight got beaten by a better one and then somebody hit runner runner to catch a gutshot straight

Lucky if i end up even. Was going so well as well, heh, had three tables going at once
