Short Game review : Lord of the Rings Online

Been patching since 11am.

Eight hours [so far and this is without the "high definition" download which apparently takes longer!].

Makes me wonder what the fuck was on the DVD that came in the box.

Update:

Thought I might as well register whilst waiting.

Keep getting "Service Unavailable" message after filling in and submitting forms.

Doesn't bode well.

Your too late, you didnt sign up when it came out, and because the world needed a hero then a vital battle was lost and Sauron has won and taken over the world

or the fact if your were a beat player you could have joined for life for £99,

I think you got 2 or 3 major updates to dl as turbine/codemaster do tend not to send new images to the cd/dvd pressers

I played in beta and seemed to be the only person with a grip on reality who could tell it was crap. It honestly felt like I was playing a reskinned version of WoW.

My brother has just started playing WoW again. He's currently grinding Reputation so he can grind looking for materials so he can grind his Tailoring and grind his enchanting up. In between, he level grinds. Sounds great.
