Are you talking about... 'The Game'?
The point of... 'The Game' being that you can only lose, so once you know about... 'The Game' and happen to remember it, the rule is simple; you must exclaim something like "Oh dear I just lost the game!" (sometimes stronger language is used) and anybody else hearing this who happens to know the rules of... 'The Game' must also say something similar, thereby also losing... 'The Game'...
If you are the only person to say that you lost, then you must explain the rules to anybody who will listen, thereby drafting them into this ridiculous fad and possibly spreading the word to other overly excitable individuals until the entire population bar one person participates and perhaps then a worldwide mexican... lose... wave... thing will occour. The remaining person to never find out about this game inadvertently becomes the one and only true winner, however due to the nature of... 'The Game' they will never know this and so technically also can be described as a loser. Such is the tragedy of... 'The Game'.
